Well there isn't much you can do, there's probably a few reasons these things stay. First maybe not everybody is as mean and gives something lousy say a 2, which isn't harsh enough for a blam (I know when I see something that though I may not like it I can tell took so hard work to make I'm hesitant to blam it), also some people just vote high on crap for kicks (I know a few people like that).

Alot of people have more then one account on NG. They have own account which they submit on (called say.. "master") Then they have an account called "Master2" and they vote on there movie they submitted with this account and the "master" account. Some people have up to like "master400" (going from "Master" to "master2" to "master3" and so on) as u can only vote on one movie every 24 hours, they can vote on it lots of times in 24 hours with ll these differen't accounts, this way users get high votes and keep their shitty movies on the server, it's dirty but very sly.

Yeah, I just saw one the BLAM club's ad movies (the one that made it to the top 50 of all time, "All Your BLAM!"), and i thought it was kinda related to this. Yeah, a lot of movies have been surviving on NewGrounds - a lot of movies that shouldn't have survived. This sucks.

However, more movies would've been surviving if the blam club wasn't formed and wasn't operating. Thanks for the 50 MOST RECENT MOVIES display, the crappy movies can be spotted right in the portal, before they hide on NG's server. They're doing a good job, but a lot of good movies have been blammed too, hopefully accidentally, but if that happens, there's always an option for the author to re-submit.

nice idea, but im pretty sure the NG server takes an IP addy record or PC signature insted of basing it on the accounts, i think probably most ppl form groups that vote 4 each other. if say, three ppl together, each with the power of 5 votes form a group and vote for each others movie 7 times a week, each movie will have receive the equivelent of 105 votes. meanwhile, the movie has long since disappeared from the most recent 50, so not many ppl veiw it to give it a bad vote, only the 'vote stackers' ever vote for it.
