Flash 5 had the best tutorials, they were interactive and were pre-built fla's that you would edit normally, whereas the tutorials from Flash MX onwards, just sort of told you what to do, and it was sort of hard to follow along. But, once you understand the basics, you may consider upgrading, i never really upgraded past Flash MX (Stupid Win98SE), but i have used MX 2004 from time to time, it seems very confusing and contains alot of items that could POSSIBLY be useful, had they come with any instructions on how to use them properly
