Today in computer programming, we had to write an essay on a programming language assigned by the teacher. I just so happened to get the one I didn't know anything about, PostScript. I could have easily written tons on C++, C#, Java, Jave Script, Actionscript, etc. but I just had to get PostScript. On top of that, I looked up stuff on it online and nothing was very direct as much as the others. So, I ask for your help, please. What are the main advantages and disadvantages of PostScript?

heh, already looked there, I've read through tons of different websites and all that they have to say. I just can't seem to understand the direct advantages and disadvantages of PostScript. All I seem to get about it is that it's a printing language that can even be recieved by the printer that can transfer back to the computer.
I'm not trying to get anyone to do my homework at all, I'm just asking if anyone could help me with some of the disadvantages, cause I've seen nothing relating to that at all through the websites I've looked at. Wikipedia didn't show them, Adobe definatly wouldn't show it's own disadvantages, I've done my research, I just can't find it.
If he had just given me any of the other 8 languages he had assigned to people, I would have been able to do this easy. But I got the one I can't understand clearly.
