Sir i hope they do i know about the sigs thread, but do you know how to change my sig. I weant it to say EGB and NGDD, as i a member of them. I dont mind RRC but i dont know how to do fancy sigs, did you get yours from the sig thread?. I know where it is. I cant do more then do basic writing ,not enough space. Im sure someone will do a thread Salutes!

When did it happen? i did not notice yesterday, i saw your userpage a review mod eh?. Three years and you got to be a mod ,plus a golden aura with Hunting Knife looks chic.

I was modded in the small hours of yesterday morning, at about 1:00am EST, which is 6:00am in the UK. I was pretty tired at that point, but after getting a small flood of congrats PM's andnews post comments, I felt a bit more awake ;P

Found some goldmimes on spam submissons. Wish i could say the say same about my stupid laptop, the sound fucked again. Works for a while then freezes. I think its sadly a bug that Powerbooks G4, gets. Apple seems to suffer from it, ive got Leopard and the dumb thing freezes. Worked fine all week this happened last week as well. Maybe its cursed i did listen, to that cursed audio.

LoL thanks I guess and it won't and I know TheThing, NGLog is a constant reminder of how I could of deposited while I was in HS and been lvl 43 or something like that. So NEVR, I have a question. We all know that review mods have different opinion on some situations when it comes to reviews. So what are your opinions on old reviews? I know some mods like Kidray76 say its ok to mark abusive reviews when they really stick out and have an old date on them, while other mods like absent and ramagi delete all abusive reviews no matter the date. At the same time there are some mods that don't think that old reviews should be deleted. So what exactly is your thought on the subject?

Thanks for the congrats everyone about me gaining the EGSC golden winged tank, its a pretty good feeling. I just haven't been active for the past few days because of taking a small break after gaining the final rank and the fact the weekend I am always pretty booked.

His thoughts are that for him to delete a really old review (pre-2004), it has to be VERY abusive -- pretty much just acute racism etc., even though 'stolen' reviews are usually gotten rid of despite date. All right guys, its awesome that NEVR is a review mod now but if you have questions about reviews we have an entire thread dedicated to it in Rage's and you can always PM him instead of asking in here.

Bob wasn't actually saying that ANY abusive review on a spam flash won't be deleted, but if a review says, for example, "I'm giving this submission a 0 because it's a spam flash" or similar, then it's allowed to stay because it's not technically abusive, and it is fair.

There's a lot of intricacies to consider when moderating reviews for certain submissions, but I won't go into them now considering that for the most part it's only 'need-to-know' if you're a review mod.

OFFICIAL RECORDS OFFICER RESIGNATION POST

Well, I hate to do this, but the time has come for me to retire from the post of Records officer.

There comes a time, whenever updating any list such as this one (especially manually, such as it has become) that it all just becomes a little too much to continue. I was glad to be such an integral part of the Barracks, and pleased to put my mark on the roster by extending it to 2 parts, but now, with my extra responsibilities as a moderator, I think it's a good time to pass the torch along.

That's not to say that I won't still be around the EGB though. I'll still be active here, and I'll retain my position as Portal operations and Emergency operations officer. I'll still contribute to the EGB as much as I can, but doing the roster has really become more of a chore for me that the pleasure it once was. I also realise that with my imminent departure to university, I'll have yet another way to divide my time, and I've been starting to wonder where the roster would fit into that.

I'd like to thank Slash and Eagle for giving me the position in the first place, and everyone who followed and enjoyed the rosters during my tenure as Records officer. Most of all, I'd like to thank Sterockicy for showing me the ropes back in the day, and Joshiwa for taking half of the strain and providing me with an excellent user to pass the torch along to.

Tomorrow will be my last ever roster update, after which Joshiwa will be taking over as the 'senior' records officer, and may choose someone as his lieutenant if he wishes, or continue to update the roster solo.

Well its a bummer that you are resigning as the Records Officer but you have other things going on that need your attention more and yes making the update can be tedious at times. I reached Level 15 a few days ago! Finally got rid of that little bloody hammer and took a brand new whip!
I also reached 11,000 B/P and by the same fact, the rank of Prapor... errr... something... as an Elite Guard! I was finally able to tell a definitive goodbye to those silver badges... and a warm welcome to the gold ones!
