True enough, that and the system we have with user voting works pretty well..
Sometimes. Used to work better, like I was discussing with Phantom earlier in this thread. I think a few years back users (for the most part) were much more interested in quality rather than points, which is why we used to get so many more blams than we do now.
True enough, its sad to think that so much spam does get through, and most of it is because users know that something will pass and vote on it accordingly just for points.
However, if those same people voted on a submission as it should be voted on, then there would be a better chance at getting spam removed... though most won't. :/
I still refuse to vote on something just for points though, I will vote as I see fit and no other way but. :)
The whistle whores generally take care of the rule-breakers, though. It's only the odd one that slips through judgment that has to be reported.
True enough, like those shits that will file-swap and the such. >:[
I'm not even going to lie, I've gotten a kick out of some spam submissions before, so it's all a matter of what it is, who's viewing it, and whether its blatant spam or not.
Oh man, we all have. Some spam submissions do give me a cheap laugh, so I'll give them a 2 or 3 (depending on how good the laugh was). Like you say, it's all down to personal preference when voting which is what the EGB is all about anyway.
True enough, though even Ramagi admitted before that the best way to get points is to vote on the extremes, either 0 or 5. :/
Eh, I never did it honestly, couldn't really be bothered at the time it started, and it didn't help that many submissions had my alias tagged onto them as well. :/
The best part about it was just being able to report rule-breaking submissions MUCH more efficiently, and being informed that the submission had actually been deleted, rather than having to wait for a year for Wade to check his PM inbox and look at the submission.
Yea... if I feel something should be removed I never PM an admin, I just hop on Paltalk and let them know that way.. works much better. :)

I hope i will be there, but i don't knowi might be going to the fair.
Eh, looks like the both of us have plans for that day then. :P
I'm having fun and going on rides you have to work what ever you do to make money.
I work at a private videogame store, that specializes in retro games. :D
True enough, it dies down later on in the day anyways, but it doesn't cease until the European users hop on too and submit their works... usually in the morning of the following day.
EST time I mean. :P
I'm usally on all day on those occations, it does slow up after 8 or 9. Then around 4 it starts back up again. I might just find some kid off the street to vote for me and pay him min wage.
Haha, good luck on that one. I'm going to see if there's some way I can make an application that will vote 5 on everything right away... would work very well, on Clock Day at least. XD
We all know how much crap gets in during that time. :P
