Will he ever return? Who knows, who cares?

I have no idea, I didn't ever bother reading anything else he ever wrote. If he left, good, screw him, I'm way above him in B/P rankings anyway, and I went through a lot of shit this year, so if he can't catch up, he's fucked.

The author think hes some sort of god because hes won an award. I think its a bit soon to be that boasteful. Odd how it went from bad to getting, i think daily 4 place not that im saying it did not get the award fairly. Well on friday it will be clockday.

Duke was a long time ago. A very long time ago, and we really don't care anymore now. But it was funny then, and I think Eagle posted some sort of links and funny's about it somewhere in the EGB forum.

Well, fuck. I'm going camping this weekend, and I leave on Friday afternoon. I'll need to stay up late and clock a graveyard shift if I want to get some points.

Speaking of which, first to PM me gets to deposit for me!

We don't. We don't need spam either (Join NGPD when you have proper rank, or join us, when you have the proper rank; no custodial posts until then). thank you.

You mean, gets to be first to try and deposit for you but fail because you somehow fuck something up in your account that no one else can access?

That's the third time this has happened. Same guy and everything, comes along and asks to be the janitor for some unknown reason.

What high aspirations some people have.

Well, we just need to leave him to his own devices and see what the future holds. I'll be pissed off if he comes back and shows off a gold medal, that's for sure :P

Still, I've managed to keep the pace decent and I wonder how Clock Day will affect it... Could this be Coop's first ever star pace week (1,000+ Weekly B/P)?

Clock day might be alright, that depends how much can a single bandwagon really survive.

That's very strange, why would anyone come into a club just for that reason, kind of a pointless thing to do, though maybe it's just for some attention.

Well I think he originally wanted to join up as a regular member, but one of us told him that he didn't meet the basic requirements. He then asked to be the EGB janitor, which he was obviously passed over for, as we (and most other clubs for that matter) don't really work like that.

IIRC, he then dropped by at a separate time and repeated his request for a janitorial position. I guess by that time he just couldn't be bothered to go back to the page where he asked the previous time and find his original request, and the following rejection (as it was).

This is now the third time, if memory serves... I guess he's just that desperate to be accepted here. Probably only because we have the word 'Elite' in our club name, and he wants to be counted as an 'Elite' member of NG. Probably doesn't realise that we get our name from the original B/P ranks prefixed with 'Elite Guard'.

Heh, the janitor from Scrubs is possibly the only type of janitor I'd want to be. Mostly because he gets paid for doing basically no work and tormenting doctors all day. Bit of a far cry from regular custodial work, mind. ;P

The medals with jade happens to be a nice touch, U.S. have just beat the Frenchies for opening their big mouths, who do they think they are? Joe Namath? Muhammed Ali? Plaxico Burress?

Man I remember last years Clock day, I got like nearly 1000+ b/p that day. I ranked up the day before and I got another rank up because of it. That was a cool day.

Depends if I'm gone or not by then, if not then I'll be racking up the points this year as well.

I'm looking forward to my first Clock Day, even if I'll miss a lot of the American submissions (damn time zones).

One thing is certain though, by the end of it, my B/P ratio will be seriously messed up.

Yes it will, mine messed up last year and just got worse and worse as more stuff passed than was blammed, the portal is only really just starting to even out again with that I think, Clock Day might mess that up and we get the same thing happening all over again.

I should start on a Clock Day flash, I have my idea but I'm too lazy to make anything now, lol.

Most people have more saves than blams these days, except for some of the older users who were heavy into B/Ping back before '06-'07. When the redesign was launched, I had a few thousand more blams than saves, but not anymore.

I want more blams.

Totally. Remember the days when submissions would be judged much more harshly, and blammed if they were even slightly below par quality? Getting that awesome blam animation much more often, too... I miss that.

Perhaps one day it'll turn around again and we'll be back to how it was in the good old days.

That happened last year to me i got like 1,200 saves that day and 40 something blams. even thought i was on almost all day drinking some energy drink to keep be up, it was well worth my time. I hope you enjoy it as much as i do.

I did that for a while, but TBH I don't really see much that needs reporting anymore anyway. Most of the shit like that gets flagged pretty quickly, so there's not a whole lot of point.

I dunno if some of the other guys who did it are still regularly sending links to Wade over AIM, but I only send him one on the odd occasion now. He's usually pretty busy as well, so it can take a while for him to actually have the time to check the links you've sent.

It was pretty good whilst I still did it though.

True enough, I haven't heard much about it recently, I only see it being an advert on Ramagi's page still, but that's it honestly.

True enough, that and the system we have with user voting works pretty well.. I'm not even going to lie, I've gotten a kick out of some spam submissions before, so it's all a matter of what it is, who's viewing it, and whether its blatant spam or not.

It was pretty good whilst I still did it though.

Eh, I never did it honestly, couldn't really be bothered at the time it started, and it didn't help that many submissions had my alias tagged onto them as well. :/

Sometimes. Used to work better, like I was discussing with Phantom earlier in this thread. I think a few years back users (for the most part) were much more interested in quality rather than points, which is why we used to get so many more blams than we do now.

The whistle whores generally take care of the rule-breakers, though. It's only the odd one that slips through judgment that has to be reported.

I'm not even going to lie, I've gotten a kick out of some spam submissions before, so it's all a matter of what it is, who's viewing it, and whether its blatant spam or not.

Oh man, we all have. Some spam submissions do give me a cheap laugh, so I'll give them a 2 or 3 (depending on how good the laugh was). Like you say, it's all down to personal preference when voting which is what the EGB is all about anyway.

Eh, I never did it honestly, couldn't really be bothered at the time it started, and it didn't help that many submissions had my alias tagged onto them as well. :/

The best part about it was just being able to report rule-breaking submissions MUCH more efficiently, and being informed that the submission had actually been deleted, rather than having to wait for a year for Wade to check his PM inbox and look at the submission.

True enough, its sad to think that so much spam does get through, and most of it is because users know that something will pass and vote on it accordingly just for points.

However, if those same people voted on a submission as it should be voted on, then there would be a better chance at getting spam removed... though most won't. :/

I still refuse to vote on something just for points though, I will vote as I see fit and no other way but. :)

The whistle whores generally take care of the rule-breakers, though. It's only the odd one that slips through judgment that has to be reported.

True enough, though even Ramagi admitted before that the best way to get points is to vote on the extremes, either 0 or 5. :/

Yea... if I feel something should be removed I never PM an admin, I just hop on Paltalk and let them know that way.. works much better. :)

I'm usally on all day on those occations, it does slow up after 8 or 9. Then around 4 it starts back up again. I might just find some kid off the street to vote for me and pay him min wage.

Haha, good luck on that one. I'm going to see if there's some way I can make an application that will vote 5 on everything right away... would work very well, on Clock Day at least. XD

We all know how much crap gets in during that time. :P

Failed.

Hey, at least I'm doing something and engaging instead of sitting in front of a computer all day and night trying to get pretend points on a Macromedia Flash site that's been going downhill since 2007.

Zing!
Speaking of which, first to PM me gets to deposit for me!
You mean, gets to be first to try and deposit for you but fail because you somehow fuck something up in your account that no one else can access?

Shuddup. Just shud-the-fuck-up. Just sh. sh. It's hopefully fixed now, so you can shut it.

Yeah, ya lucky bastard. I always wish I'd done more B/Ping back in the day, but meh. Coulda woulda shoulda.

Same with me. I even had more chances to B/P back then. But I just kind of crawled along because I wanted to stay with the NGPD, who were so good to me.

But yeah, things worked differently back then. we had more fun than now, but life is mean that way.

You're right. Things change, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. And although it may seem worse because of nostalgia, it could actually be better.

But these ain't one of them times.

Perhaps one day it'll turn around again and we'll be back to how it was in the good old days.

It might. But then a unicorn might be seen flying out of my ass.

Eh, looks like the both of us have plans for that day then. :P
I'm having fun and going on rides you have to work what ever you do to make money.
I work at a private videogame store, that specializes in retro games. :D

So it can't be all that bad if that's your job, i'd love to do that :)

I would pay a good price if someone would do that for me. If you ever get around to to that application of yours could you e-mail it to me. Nothing ever gets blammed on clock day so no bother trying.
