Actually, I take calls from people regarding a late night game show, that they'll never win. It's amazing really, how people spend like 3,000 dollars in just a couple months on making those calls and SMS messages, and get freaked out to win 50 bucks.

My main occupation would be to document complaints, and explain to slow people the rules of the game.

Thankfully, the people there have a good sense of humor. You may have your calls recorded, but no one's stopping you from giving the "fap" sign to your co workers when you have an annoying one on your hands.

I was offered an interview for a job at a call centre once, but I turned that opertunity down, I'm not very good on phones, lol. Although one thing I was told about it is that they give bonuses for selling whatever you are selling and such, so I guess it's good pay for those who can do it.

I spoke to a friend who also wants a night job, and we're going to the place to give in our CV's on Monday, so we'll see what happens. I figure I might as well do a night shift, seeing as I'm up anyway.

I think (though not entirely sure) that mostly it's dealing with / recording complaints and shit like that, rather than telephone sales. I wouldn't particularly like to be a telephone salesman, because whenever I get a call from one, I get someone irritated with their unnecessary persistence, even though it's obviously part of their job.

Well its really sad what AnalPeguinFarming, going through right now. Its quiet in NGDD. I done two audios today only two left and the review guide, to do better then 27 audios. Remember a while back a few of us were trying to put together an EGB website? I know it's since kinda moved to the back burner, but I made an ideas thread in our forums for it, so go check it out and have a say.

Yeah, I've been through much of the same. 2 grandparents with cancer, one that didn't overcome it. But fortunately (or as however you want to see it) I don't care much for my family, so I was never in a state of tragedy regarding it.

I have seen your second it improves on the first .the quiz is exellant. You got Kidray76 an exellant review mod no less ,to review your submisson. Sorry, it was a reference to the movie, A Christmas Story, where the dad gets a Leg Lamp from a newspaper contest. He then proceeds to display the "major award" in the front window for the neighborhood to see.

It was around the 850's, I believe. We had a banner, a slick home page, and a flash module that had the Defcon rating (although it wasn't made, but the idea was there).

I thought he did well for his first two flashes. I helped, but he did all of the hard work. Too bad the second one took the Daily 6th, which is only a runner up. It was only .2 away from taking a daily award.

Gee, thanks guys. I was delighted that both of em did so well, just a pity #2 was so close and still missed the mark.

Not only that but he linked to the search page for his flash, the Review Request Club only want direct links to flash, so all the same it's wrong :(

Also, anyone spot that flash that spawned popups today? I thought people had stoped doing that, been a while since I've seen one anyway. It's flagged now though ;)
