Thank fuck I'm staying ahead of the average. MUST KEEP GOING.

Influx of new people ranked lower than Brigadier General is good, though, as it drags down the average by a bit. If we didn't have so many EGSC's though, it would be a different story ;P

When I joined we were 8,751 B/P apart.

A fortnight ago, when Josh last did the roster, we were 2,058 B/P apart. Now we're 1,593 apart... so I've gained 465 B/P on her in 2 weeks, which is pretty good. I think her pace has dropped a fair amount though, so it's time to gear up and catch up.

Not bad...I don't know what the future is going to bring for my b/p averages, so passing some of these guys might be tougher than it currently looks... We'll just have to wait and see, I guess. :/ I've got noone close to passing me, though, so that's good. :P

FamilyGuy05, I regret to inform you that it's been decided that you're not ready to join the Barracks at this time. Reasons include poor post quality (excessive one-liners), poor review quality, and extremely high save:blam ratio.

As for that last, I feel it necessary to elaborate on. With the current state of the Portal (crap passing much more often that it did a couple years ago), it's not abnormal to have more saves than blams. However, your ratio is so high that it warrants concern. In the Elite Guard Barracks, we vote based on our individual ideas of quality (whether it be graphics, complexity, humor, etc); voting fairly. We do not vote based on who the author is, their previous flashes, or whether or not we believe the flash in question will be blammed or saved. While it's possible to rank up very quickly by voting for points instead of quality, it's that same practice which has lead to the current abysmal state of the Portal.

I am not accusing you of doing this, but the nearly 5:1 ratio of saves to blams forces me to make it clear. The EGB doesn't have a specific threshold for blam:save ratio (in fact, doing so would be the exact opposity of encouraging fair voting); the main reason you're not being accepting at this time is poor post/review quality.

If you improve in those areas, and make your voting methodology clear, you are free to apply again at a future date.

Yes, but there are ways around this.

The best route to the EGB is to join the Newgrounds Police Department. Many members there graduate to the EGB once they meet the B/P requirements.

Once you're in the NGPD, however, you can join the EGB as a Guardsman, which is a special supplementary, "semi-membership" position reserved for those in the NGPD who have a serious wish to join our ranks in the future. The benefits of this position is that you can familiarise yourself with our ways, policies, and personnel before you actually join, making your transition a lot smoother.

Yes, that is correct. You stat requirements must match, or exceed the rank of Elite Guard Private in order to apply. Your whistle status must also be normal or higher. You may be interested in joining the Newgrounds PD if you're not already a member there. :)
Just make sure to keep your post quality up and be a fair, active voter in the portal and you'll be able to apply here in no time. ;)

Just put in my request today lol, that's how I found a link to here. I am very interested in joining. My whistle was bronze, but due to the fact of all the spam submissions coming in, and the new confusing fact that people are now allowed abusive reviews for those submissions, I now am down to garbage :(

Ohh, that's bad. You can only fully join us if your whistle is normal or higher. You can still join as a Guardsman, but to get out of the Guardsman position, you need to have 2,500+ B/P and not have a garbage whistle.

I was referring to the entire BBS, I actually quite enjoy general, its where I post most often. I like to have fun and you can easily look past the morons and find actual substance to reply too or a fun topic to entertain yourself and others. It looks like I am finally out of my slump towards the BBS soooo yay!

Tho I understand what you are talking about with the sex topics and what not but I am not easily offended so I take it in stride.

Yes, you can. By the time you reach Private, you'll already be used to the style and function of the EGB, so the transition will be easy. Plus it's always helpful to have another person on-hand for stolen alerts and the like, heh.

Well as its Kitty Krew day tomorrrow, does anyone know what happened to Kes, accout aka Bigfuzzykitten?. I wondered as on NG log it said he, had gone down a level. When i looked on Google it came up ,with Bigfuzzykitten. Why was his account deleted?, i have not seen him post in ages. So i have done all audios reviews, just two games to review, and im done for this week.

I was wondering that recently, too, actually. I typed the address for his user page in the URL box, and it automatically redirected me to his alt, BigFuzzyKitten. I assume it was a staff intervention of sorts, but whether or not he requested the deletion himself, or it was a disciplinary measure, we'll probably never know -- I doubt he'd tell us.

Ah fuck! Later today he said he had a garbage whistle, and I haven't checked his profile since then, so I believed he still had it. Sorry for that.

I'd like to announce to you guys that I have gotten my whistle out of garbage and to bronze in just about a week. Those 50 whistle points didn't take too long to reach, but I don't know how many points are needed to silver. It may take awhile, but I'm in no rush.
