I do agree with you on one point. If they were good movies they should be resubmitted. If the account was deleted however, obviously that will have to be on another account.

But like I said before I am not familiar with the Pigletface movies. I myself was a fan of the BPB series...at least most of them, but by all rights they were deleted by Wade; they were spam even though some of them were pretty damned funny.

I heard that the reason Wade deleted the movies wasn't so much the content of the movies themselves (they're spammy, yes, but they weren't themselves rule-breaking), but because of alt-related abuses by the person or people involved in making and submitting them (I know MrBlue, aka PigletsMemories, who previously threatened to raid NG, is one of them). So it wasn't the movies themselves, it was abuses on other accounts of the people who submitted the movies. That isn't to say they're definitely not rule-breakers on the count of being resubmits, but those currently being submitted are ones I haven't seen before.

Fleek's gone, LordZeebmork and Orangebeef and 50vmp and most of the others I'm generally familiar with are, for one reason or another, inactive as far as making and submitting stuff (at least, I haven't seen them recently, though Zeebmork's been on the BBS from time to time), there's not much going on with the different crews, and few or no other spammers have arrived to take their places, so all the Portal Watch team would really need to worry about for right now would be K0RKZ (constantly stealing Turd on stolen alts), the still-a-possible-pedophile Suaron (operating as AdairTishler now, though not quite a spammer), or more Pigletface-related abuses. Are these not good things? The Portal may let a lot of things pass that probably shouldn't, low-quality first submissions and such, but overall I've seen far less spam after the whole Portal Watch thing than I saw before it.

This is something you would have to take up with Wade himself, not us. Maybe they were good movies, maybe they were spam. Regardless, he is the only one who can right your percieved wrongs.

I'm not sure I completely understand what you're trying to say here but the general premise is correct. Movies are judged by registed members and visitors of newgrounds. However many users up vote flash submitted by spam authors resulting in higher than deserved scores and nudging spam flash passed the save threshhold.

A deserved score can be perceived as such by anyone however the ultimate descision process if determined to be spam will be by a NG admin.

I myself enjoy many flashes that others would love to see blammed. But I enjoy them, they passed
and so that's just tough for anyone who hates them.

I've actually been spending most of it relaxing at home. In fact right now I'm chillin in bed with the laptop and just wasting time. It's freaking nice to be able to sloth like this for awhile. We were invited to a couple of BBQ's but the wife already made a delicious chicken curry dish and now I'm stuffed. I might drag myself out for the fireworks display in a few hours but that's highly unlikely. I'd have to get bored with what I'm doing and I don't see that happening.

Welcome to the Barracks! I'm the Barracks Recruitment Officer, Supreme Commander Slash Firestorm. It's my job to examine new prospective recruits and see if they've got what it takes to join the EGB. You meet the basic stat requirements of 2500+ B/P and an intact whistle, which is good, although considering your high save:blam ratio, I must make sure that you understand our voting policy---we vote based on our individual concepts of quality, not for points. While ranking up is a major goal of most of us, we do not vote based on whether or not we think something will be passed or blammed.

With that said, let me explain how the recruitment process works.

Currently you are in "Standby Status" while your case is considered. During this process, me and the other Barracks members will take a look at your record---posting quality, review history/quality, flash record, etc---and see if there are any problems.

Don't worry, we're not too strict about these things; we just want to make sure that you have a decent posting record (not too many one-liners and no flaming/spamming), don't make abusive reviews or rulebreaking flash, etc..

After a period of discussion amongst the Barracks members, I (or my superiors) will make the final call. Assuming that no objections are raised, this Standby Status should only last approximately 24 hours. I will PM you with the final verdict.

All Barracks members can go to the appropriate discussion thread (must be logged in to view/post) and give any questions, comments, or complaints about this prospective recruit. If there are no outstanding issues after 24 hours, the decision will be made---speak now or forever hold your peace.
