Welcome to the new 2-part roster! There's a couple of new things here, but there's still plenty of room for more if you guys have suggestions for new features you'd like to see. Even though it may not look it, it's been a fair amount of work putting together the extra pieces for this new roster.

HAH. I still got it!

Well, not much else to report. We're still at DEFCON 3, and I'm still working on the servers. Got the battery backup installed and am configuring it tonight. When I'm done, it looks like my router and my server will have 30 minutes of uptime in a power outage! Plus, it'll automatically shut down if the battery goes down, and it'll auto-restart once the power returns! I'm getting serious here... More updates to come.

Heh, thanks. It shouldn't be a problem getting this done every week - there's only a few additional calculations to do to maintain the new features. The main challenge was actually getting the entire EGB's grand total B/P, and things of that nature. Massive figures... nearly 1 million B/P altogether.

A little trivia for y'all - the 13 Supreme Commanders alone make up over 560,000 B/P of the total 865,000.

I love the distribution scale, it makes everything look professional and...stuff. Great work with the improvement of the new list.

The distribution scale is something I'm hoping to expand upon in future. I might even attach a graph or something to the first post of the roster.

Yeah, I tried to get as many ideas on there as possible without making it too much work to keep updated on a regular basis. Most of the ideas I left out were good, but would have added a lot of time onto the updates each week.

You mean records officers? But yeah... I always notice one or two little mistakes that I've made. I've yet to do a perfect roster without ANY tiny mistakes, so when that does happen, I'll be partying.

Ah, Clock Day... Too bad that I didn't see last year's and won't see this year's. Missing out on a ton of Save points, well, actually I really shouldn't care because I've missed out on hundreds of Saves already. But I'd still rather be here for the festivities... But a vacation is a lot better than sitting at a computer all day for a number, I guess, no matter how cool that number may be.

So I just wanted to stop by since the barracks are not very busy today and give a small status report. The portal has been off and on all day, not that busy, but nonetheless I am keeping my portal guard up and protecting the portal the best I can.

Well, I blew it on 2006 but racked up over 400 in 2007 and submitted 4 "flash" movie just to see what would happen. Even then I still voted 0 on some really bad ones in hope of getting a blam but it never happened. I have great news though, I passed my foreign language class.

Good! I knew you would. I passed AP Stats, something of an accomplishment when I got a 45% last marking period. Sadly, Chemistry was filled with labs, and I'm no good at the hands-on stuff, especially because the period I have Chem was the tiredest and hungriest of the day for me, so I was running on empty every single Chemistry class, so I probably failed there...

If the outcome of the discussion period is positive, then you'll be welcomed into the EGB.

I'm aiming to take somewhat more points than I did last year - I managed over 500 Saves and not one single Blam :(

This year, I'm after more Saves and indeed some Blams to go nicely with it. I'll have booked the day off by then, giving me the weekend to clean up as well. I'll have to tell the Saturday Captain that I can't play, obviously. That' always worth another few hundred points.

There were Blams out there in places, but I would say that they will be easier to come by on C(l)ock Day as the system has changed subtly over the past year. I've noticed that I'm getting more Blams and hopefully, some of the Admins will be on hand to delete unsuitable flash from the off :P

To be honest, I do have concerns about your post history as well, as most of your posts seem to be one-liners. While I wouldn't go as far as to call those posts spamlike, I do have concerns that you might not fit in. Like Slash said, take time to understand what we're about and take a look at our forms (check my sig). I strongly recommend that you read the Barracks Manifesto so you can understand what we are about. You post a lot of good links to rule-breaking flash here, so there's no need to feel 'lazy' about doing that. If you want to get more involved, all you have to do is post your opinions on what other people are discussing - it's that easy. Any EGB member is welcomed to put in their two cents, so if you read through other people's posts and see something you'd like to reply to, go for it!

Also, lots of people comment on the roster each week when it comes out, so that's another way of getting more involved. (Of course, that one is also in my own interest, because I like seeing people commenting on my work :P).

And Rumble totally deserved it. Have you seen the new addition? They added Fancy Pants as a character! I like him, he has a pretty good combo.

But when they updated the game I lost my old save file! I had to start a new one... Well, I PM'ed NegativeONE about some bugs and he replied it saying that he already knows how to fix them. Good to know!
