The requirements B/P wise are to have over 1500 (therefore be an elite guard) and so on the criteria you are fine. We also check posting history, and although you have some bad ones, there are also plenty of decent posts littered around, so I say welcome aboard (somewhat unofficially should Phantom disagree...)! Be warned that we don't tolerate one line posts in here, so please make an effort to improve your posting habits a little.

This is the point where I would point you to the FAQ, but it is down for the moment. The main thing is to post well, and a few examples of rules that tend to be broken:
DO NOT respond to spammers, ever. Responding will only encourage them.
No stat only posts- if you want to post daily gains and the like then include some other topic of conversation in your post as well.
No encouraging mass voting in any way, shape or form. We as the elite guard encourage voting fairly on submissions, with a full range of votes from 0-5, and do not vote simply to get points. I don't care if it is a spam group that always have their flash pass, we still vote as the flash deserves.

That's pretty much it- hopefully the FAQ will be back up soon and you can browse through that. In the mean time pick a bunk and get acquainted with everyone- I suggest looking over the last 5-10 pages of posts to see what we usually talk about. I warn you that Phantom likes to torture the new recruits, and PenguinLink has a bit of a bunny fetish, but other than that we are fairly normal :D

My B/P pace took a hit today after a very busy day at work, and then going off to the Nuggets game this evening (which they lost). It's the first NBA game I've seen, and I must say the atmosphere was pathetic compared to British football or rugby matches, at least until the last couple of minutes. It was a good game though, with plenty of lead changes, so I got my moneys worth :)

So about 70 points today- still pretty good, but not the 100+ I've been getting the rest of the week.

No pictures of Bob- genetics hasn't quite got to that level yet, and the ethical complications mean it will probably never happen, unless you happen to have a secret underground lair and a lot of time and money on your hands. One day...
