Personally, I think Pride is the most powerful emotion and sin, there might be something that you just can't do, but you're too proud to admit it and you keep on trying even if means failing over and over again.

Altough I must admit, for the most part envy has been the sin which has caused me the most trouble.... But I won't say why exactly.

Anyway, I am now going on a B/P binge for the next couple of days as my company has now left, and I have 2 days until school begins.

Finally, I was wondering when the next Barracks Stat Update will be. I noticed that there hasn't been an update since around mid August. I understand that the list is a great undertaking and I thank those who work hard on them. I'm just wondering, is all.

This can prove to be very difficult for a lot of people. No one ever really wants to admit that they are wrong or not able to accomplish a task. Men are typically more apt to be prideful than women. We are usually the ones to be placed with the situations to create a sense of pride. Of course the sense in which it begins to be harmful to themselves or others. Some people will never understand when to stop and ask for help.

There are times where pride may be warranted. You should take pride in a job well done. You should feel free to take pride in your family. Things of that nature should be allowed. It’s needs to be things that directly affect the individual and not the public as a whole though. If the pride is only personally beneficial than why not. As I said, there are limits to everything. When you can clearly see that limit is when you know you can truly take pride in yourself or others.

I promised dave I'll make one post here simply to whore out the Newground's Department of Defense. As you might know, the Barracks is very supportive of everything on NG, but the NGDD does have departments for all of you out there who prefer the BBS more than the portal, or Audio, Flash or any of those things. It is better to meet more of your kind there because every one's specialty is obvious. And as a member of both clubs, I enjoy both and recommend to any one with too much spare time to join it.
