Same. Once I get gold I will really slow down on the flagging. I want to get gold but it will be awhile. I will never get diety nor do I want it, I don't want all of that pressure.

Also, if you are wondering where all the Slash Returns have gone, I can't be on my computer during weekdays, but I'm working on "Slash Returns: The Movie," which does in fact hold more pervertedness, sex, and dry humor. Honestly, I would have to say it may be my best work ever.

I also noticed that we are nearing the much longed for, Page 500. We may hit it by tonight or the next few days, if we start being post whores, which I do not recommend.

Good luck with that goal you should also stop by the abuse review thread more as well there are plenty of links for you to flag. i will be flaggng with an alt account to help you guys out because if I keep flagging with my main you chances for getting gold will be real slim since my main sets the bar.

Same. Once I get gold I will really slow down on the flagging. I want to get gold but it will be awhile. I will never get diety nor do I want it, I don't want all of that pressure.

Hemlok we don't respond to spammers in the EGB. When you do that you only give the spammers what they want attention. once you give them attention they may come back and spam us some more and the last thing we need is potential spam that could be prevented if you didn't respond.

I'm so sorry! I promise I will never do it again.

Today I got an amazing 131 points! That was probably the best I have done for the summer. I was actually suprised because the portal wasn't that active today. I'm sad to say this is probably the last day I will get passed 100 points for awhile. There is a chance I can get it tommorrow and possibly on the weekends but with all the homework and projects I will have to do there won;t be a lot of time for Newgrounds. I will try and be as active as possible. I am hoping I will get at least 50 points everyday this school year. Tommorrow is my last day of summer so I will probably be hanging out with my friends most of the day. I am not looking forward to school.

All my girls are going back to school tomorrow...sigh. They were a ray of sunshine that rejuvenated me when I start having blam-fatigue during the daytime, lol. Now I got to wait til nighttime to talk to them...sigh.

I'm gonna try and get a certain girl to see Snakes on a Plane with me, lol. Nothing says romantic like Samuel L Jackson screaming "motherfucker". :-D

I've tried to get this point across countless times, but noone listens to me, either. It's really annoying. Simple concept: DO NOT RESPOND. If someone MUST respond, it will be by either a Barracks Officer, or more likely, a moderator, ok? I've gotten chastized many times by moderators by this, as well as other officers like Ghost_Phantom. Why make it harder for us? Several mods don't like us already, so why fuel the fire?

I was playing with the idea of a demerit system a while back (like 300 pages ago, lol), but never thought I'd need it. Lets hope I don't need it in the future. I expect Barracks members to give respect to each other, to NG, and to the thread. Responding to spammers is just one way to not respond. For instance, the person that tried to join using Mad-Cow's stats should have only been responded to by officers, and then only by one person, the Recruitment Officer (who basically said "nice try"). What more do we need? One-liner annoyance posts do not deserve anything, as it accomplishes nothing. All it does is say to them, "hey, I can get a rise out of these Barracks guys...I'm gonna do it more!" So they do. Not responding makes them go away. If they are spamming up the forum, an Officer will contact a moderator for help. Simple as that. Please refrain from responding to spammers, as it does nothing but cause harm.

Sorry to be terse with my statements, but this has been an issue I have mentioned countless times, and it seems I have to do so regularly, as well as my fellow Officers.

One more note, while I'm on Barracks business: end-of-day stats. I know many of you are pissed off that moderators are banning us for doing it, but what are we going to do? If the mods don't want us posting it here, fair enough. There are the Barracks Forums (see my sig link) which I made for things like this that NG wishes to keep off the C&C thread. Generally I noticed people post stats around 10PM-12AM (EST), so hang out on the forums around that time. Otherwise, refrain from the posts. I do believe it's okay by JoS if you include a one-liner note in an otherwise normal post (like SlashFirestorm does), so if you want to say how many points you received, go ahead. Keep details to the Barracks Forums. I'm sorry that it annoys some of you, but I'd rather have an unlocked thread than a locked one. :-)

Despite a lot of UJ flash, the actual submission rate is pretty low, sigh. Nothing stellar/rulebreaking out there, at least not that I've seen yet.

I've spent a good deal of my day working on my flash for my buddy Liz (which may or may not be submitted to Newgrounds, it totally depends on if she lets me, lol). Looking at my recent flash, and comparing it to my earlier work...I've gotten a lot better. I mean, my stuff is still pretty crappy, lol, but a hell of a lot better than my MS Paint one-framers, or Secret Episodes, heh.

Plus I know how to make buttons now, zomg. I plan to use them at every available opportunity. :-P As well as the little technique of putting music in movie clips to have more control of the sound. Music is what gets a lot of my flash to pass, lol.

Ain't had any NG news in a while. Every time there is a news post, I always am like, "OMG NEW LEVELS YET?", and then get bummed when it's not. But who knows, it could happen at any time...

If they reply to them its only their fault.

Spammers come here every so often just because we're "good guys"...stereotyped as uptight, supercritical people who blam anything short of "masterpiece" quality. One look at my flash list can show that stereotype isn't true, lol.

It's not very often that we get spammed though. And when it DOES happen, and in significant numbers, senior members handle it in private (which has been made much easier with the PM system).

Hm, I made my own signature, lol. Flash is MUCH better at it than MS Paint. XD

It's not as good as my old one, which was made in the now-long-gone SSRB, but it's still pretty good, I'd say. ^_^
