Wow. It's December already. 2015 is just about over. It's been a strange year for a lot of us, and all I can do is hope that 2016 is better. IRL I've been in flux with my clients and my workflow, removing any notion of stability and long-term income. I am grateful that I still have a few short-term gigs in the pipeline; they should hold me up long enough to find another long-term gig. But, that's my problem...
As for here, I would like to recognize some of our esteemed members who work tirelessly to keep the portal clean : GameJunkie, DefTonesFan665, Asandir, Exedor and Jolly. You are all great examples of what the Barracks stands for, and I salute you all for your work, dedication and integrity.

As for all who read this: I wish you all a very happy, healthy and peaceful holiday season. Enjoy your Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Festivus or whatever you hold dear to your hearts; now is the time to mend those fences with your family and call up old friends. It's not what you get under the tree - it's who's around it with you that really matters. Take it from me...the older you get, the easier it is to lose touch. So, don't be like this old coder - go out there and really enjoy life!
