It's another slideshow. Same as he had removed earlier today, but this has one song, one pic only, but it's been run thru the "Old Time Movie" filter to make it jumpy. It's still a one pic slideshow, with no animation or interactivity. Please, can a mod send him a message so he knows why these were removed so he stops resubmitting? I left a review on the first one that was removed, but I don't know if he saw it before it was removed, or if they can see reviews after deletion. Thx. NRN.

It's hard to tell, but Goodgame Studios is one of those sites that doesn't really submit here and if they do they have there fucking "Goodgame" followed by their generic game type in the name. And there is no credits and he signed up not to long ago. So... yeah... very, very suspicious.

You obviously knew this, since you recognized his name as a reviewer. Our mission statement is to spread our love of animation. But if someone wants to tango... well, we'll tango too.

I'm not going to defend nor decry my team's reaction to the situation. But the flash was funny as hell and you people need to get off your soap boxes and enjoy life for Christ's sake.

BTW.. When are you going to start a club that slams reviewers who have contributed NOTHING to this community for verbally attacking animators because they don't share their tastes in humor or art? I'm not talking about sincere reviews with future tips and constructive feedback. I'm referring to personal attacks, which you supposedly oppose.

If you have a problem with his reviews, why hasn't anyone asked for constructive advice from in a reply? And if his review is useless, mark it as such. If it''s abusive, mark it as such. Yes brother... but in the same vein as Superbad or The Hangover... tasteless humor is enjoyed by some. And as long as it's rated appropriately... and hasn't broken the guidelines for submission.. I don't know what this group's interest is.

Ok where to start. The Authors comments say, 'Meet 3 new adorable characters in the New Flash Game - Yami Yami' when this game is actually titled Food Shoot. Not to mention absolutely no sign of BrightSightTeam in the credits and what do you know, it's a first submission from an 3 day old account. That and the fact that Bored.com have their own Newgrounds account. This has all the earmarks of being Stolen.

I think I can explain: the EGB's primary goal is to keep Newgrounds balanced. There are a set of hard-and-fast rules that can never be broken, such as those regarding child porn, racism and infringement of ownership. Then there are the social guidelines where we get into the grey area of the immortal question of "what is art?".

When dealing with a social site like this, where everyone and anyone has the right to submit work, you are bound to encounter work that may not break any "hard" rules, but depending on a point of view, may or may not be acceptable to you. Along that line, over time we will see some users develop a history of what they design and what they upload. Some take the time and effort to make a decent flash, while others feel that a spinning picture with a looped sound and flashing lights is sufficient. It is not always about content - it's also about presentation and effort.

Good example of what I mean. Yes, Zone's stuff is definitely adult, and rated as such. But it's original work, with decent animation quality, a story line (of sorts) and obvious effort to be funny. Some people like it, others don't, yet it remains on the site because of the general quality and effort of the flash.

We're just trying to keep the peace. In a free society, we still have rules for the greater good. Newgrounds is part of that society, and as such, needs to mirror those rules. You may have the right to free speech, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea to repeatedly drop the "n-word" while walking through Compton (Los Angeles) - some will find that offensive and teach you the error of your ways. As it is here - the Elite Guard tries to keep the balance between the freedom of expression, the enforcement of site rules and what is minimally socially acceptable to all users. It's not a perfect science, and we will always encounter borderline situations where our direction may not please everyone - but we do the best we can.

As such, we do always accept constructive criticism and civilized posts, such as yours.
