Fair enough, in future I will provide more information on the reason that I have chosen to report a flash. Even if the most I can give is "he's done it before and look at the thing" for most shovelware cases.

You on the other hand are a Portal Mod and it's your job to do the checking, verifying and if necessary deleting of questionable games. But regardless of that, I'm intrigued as to why you chose my post in particular to use as an example, since as I have already mentioned above 99.9% of the time I actually do the right thing by posting all necessary and needed details? In the future please refrain from using me as a scapegoat by pointing out (the 1 of maybe 3 or 4 times, out of the 100's of posts I have made here) when I do happen to make a post like that, it's completely uncalled for. Just accept that it sometimes happens, check it for yourself (like a Portal Mod should) like you did with this one and carry on like it never happened. Is it really that difficult? I think not.

Now to EJR. No complaints for you just a correction of an error you seem to have made.

The portal mod that took it down should have known better. Please do not remove anything unless there is solid proof.

apparently was not deleted by a Portal Mod, it was removed by the author according to the current page, click the link and see for yourself.

And no offence intended but you both might want to note that currently Decky, Spretznaz and myself are the 3 main contributors to this thread and the removal of nearly all the shovelware and stolen games are due to our posts and that 99% of the time we know what is stolen and 100% of the time we know what is shovelware as do the other more regular Portal Mods that delete the afore mentioned flash games that we post here, hence their acceptance of our sometimes short explanations,ie: serial offender, generic ATV game, shovelware. Whatever we post here, it's because we know it is, what it is. It's not 'LAZINESS' it's more of a why should we have to type out an essay every time for every game that the same person submits over and over again, gamesgrow and all its ALTs are a prime example. We know all the gamesgrow alts, do you guys? So instead of us writing an essay about every single game that we post here, it's a whole lot easier and quicker for us to just put, "gamesgrow alt" or "serial offender" so that you guys don't have to constantly check them. It's really not as bad as what you guys are making it out to be. I feel a little lenience where Decky, Spretzie and myself are concerned would be appropriate. We know what we are doing.

In regards to stolen content. I agree whole-heartedly with what you have both said and I try my best to find where the games are stolen from (as I'm sure Decky and Spretzie do too) and 99.9% of the time I post all the relevant information required but it's not always possible to find them. I have visited 1000's of websites over the years and can't always remember where I've seen stuff, please keep in mind that I'm old(er than you guys) and most of the time I'm heavily medicated. Add to that the fact that GOOGLE, albeit extremely helpful is not the answer to every problem and you can't find everything with it. We will do our best in the future as we have in the past but please try be a little lenient where the 3 of us are concerned in regards to bonafide shovelware.

This is just my opinion, make of it what you will.

I agree completely with what you are saying. It's a shame that this has happened because to be honest I'm starting to wonder what the point of checking The Portal and reporting the shit if this is how we are going to be treated by The Portal Mods. Something you all seem to have forgotten:

Portal mods are (mostly) not forum mods. There is exactly zero official reason to pay attention to them with regards to what gets posted in this thread if you don't want to. Like, if they start being annoying and ungrateful about the help they do get.

This particular argument seems to have been solved, but in future could everyone remember the old rule about NOT turning this thread into a flame war? It doesn't matter if it's a troll or a mod (yes, it has happened before); derailing a thread with bickering is still derailing it, no matter who started it or why.

That said, I don't like the lack of links either. You wouldn't leave out the necessary evidence of theft / shovelware in a PM to Wade, so why leave it out of any reports here? If you 'know' it's been stolen or re-skinned a million times before, but all the proof you can think of has been removed already, just mark it as "possible" like we used to when I was a member here, and let everyone else decide for themselves and / or bring some evidence to the table you didn't find yourself. At least you're acknowledging the fact that you don't have all the info needed, but you did look into it and are not just being spurious about posting links here.

Well it is busy this month being December and having a new internet company, Sky being a nightmare to use so slow and it has awful slow my internme speed this month. The stress of this internet provider is annoying I miss other one we had. Sky is an ISP provider in the UK. I'm doing really with the Saints Row series I want to get the third one now. Anyone got there presents for Xmas I have.

I've played them all apart from the third. I've heard it's pretty much the same as the second but new city and a few new types of activity. Think I'll buy it soon seeing as it can be picked up pretty cheaply.

Nope, I got around 30 quid to get all of my presents. It's going to be an interesting Christmas this year, probably will be getting stuff from a petrol station this year.
