Greetings, Comrades-in-Arms.

First, let me say that I am duly impressed with the level of activity in regards to keeping on top of crap flashes. GameJunkie is a posting monster - he has 100 posts so far just for the month of October, and Spretznaz is pushing 50+. Decky is also in the fray, and I am very glad to see that this "new blood" is working out so well. Keep up the fine work, gentlemen - you are an honor and a tribute to what the Elite Guard stands for! *Salutes*

In other news - a minor "heads up" - this lovely hurricane / storm is going to screw with where I live come Monday morning or early afternoon (southern Connecticut) - while I'm not in a flood zone, there are countless trees around me, and if I lose power I could be offline from the home office for a few days. If I go visit clients (assuming they have power and interweb access) I can certainly keep in touch - but there is a chance that the Nov 1st's roster may be delayed a few days.

Also, for those unaware - Newgrounds is hosted in Pennsylvania, and they are going to get a direct hit from this storm. It is possible that extended power outages could occur there, and Newgrounds may be off-line through no fault of their own. They will be hit Monday night / Tuesday morning, and the damn storm is suppose to stall in place for a day or so, just churning and churning until it runs out of energy.

To all who are in the path of this storm - please stay safe, get your supplies together, and make sure your car is full of gas and you have your car power adapter for your laptop handy - so when you lose power, you can drive around other neighborhoods with power, pick up some unsecured wi-fi, and get back to being here on Newgrounds! Oh, yeah - you should stock up on food, too. You can get hungry driving around for hours looking for that perfect spot.

I'll keep in touch - but if you don't hear from me on 1-Nov-2012 it means I'm temporarily off-line - but I WILL return (you can't get rid of me that easily!)

I wouldn't be surprised if he did the same thing with all the other junk he submits twice a day.

If you go back through the EGB pages you will find somewhere that I have already reported him for doing exactly the same as what you have stated here, but for some reason nothing has been done about it. And that particular game was submitted about a month ago and deleted by mods but all other previous submissions get left alone. Virtually everything he has submitted is stolen from other sites with easily downloadable material. I totally agree with you. Something should definitely be done about this guy.

Well, I'm just popping in to say happy halloween to my fellow EGB members. I have little doubt in my mind that they'll be a few stolen/shovelware spooky themed games today. So, let the hunt begin!

Halloween was pretty quiet in my area no real trick or treat I missed most of Halloween I will look at some flashes. I heard about the terrible storm I'm real sorry for you people over in America. I saw some of the awful stuff on the news I hope it goes soon. I have looked at old games one I cant believe they ever released is Action 52 for the NES in 1991, and about 199 dollars the same as a console almost!

Still without power here and at most clients. But I found out that I can have the internet if I power up my cable modem and router. I dont have a generator, but I dug around my electronic shelves and found a 12v dc to 120v ac power inverter.
i rigged it with a car adapter and plugged it in my car - then let the engine idle as I ran a 100ft orange extension cord from my car to my office. plugged a power strip into the cord. and then powered up my modem, router and laptop.

3 minutes later I'm online. who else but a geek would use a 2012 ford fiesta as a power source for their internet connection?

cant stay on long with gas at $4 a gallon - but hey, it works.

btw lost a few trees here - including one through my den. big hole in roof above my favorite comfy chair. what a mess! no gear lost and no one hurt so that's what matters.

I'll check in later or tomorrow...keep fighting the good fight!

I think there was an XKCD comic about how resourceful geeks can be when setting up an internet connection in a new apartment. It's true, isn't it?
