Well Playcrafter allows it's users to create games on their site and download them and then upload them elsewhere. This is the second time I've seen this kind of thing come into question. It's not stolen at all. It's in Playcrafter's TOS.

My apologies. I realized that after visiting the playcrafters website. It seems I was completely wrong. Sorry for the incorrect flag; I've never seen such a thing before. I'll be more careful next time.

Why not? It wouldn't hurt for the PD's big brother to step in and set it straight. And honestly, how much effort is involved in posting in the NGPD? We can even write something up to post there, if and when the situation arises.

I agree that we should help them out whenever we can, but please do remember that the NGPD is its own group, and the EGB holds no authority on it. We can make our friendly recommendations as allies, but Tails' leadership over the NGPD should be respected. I'm only saying because it's happened in the past, and Tails was understandingly pissed off because of it. However, I'm sure that your assistances would be only recommendations anyway, so I'm really just being precautionary. :-)

Of course we should respect Tails and his authority. But I don't think he'll mind some big and powerful EGB member coming in and saying "hey, you, stop it" when it looks like the thread will close. Sometimes you just have to step back and let some one else try their hand at stopping the madness.

Quick question fellas, I was wondering if anyone else noticed that hardly anything gets blammed nowadays. I know that the requirement was that we had to have at least half out B/P as blams but now I think that is damn near impossible unless you vote on nothing exept blams. Which to me isn't fair if you see a good flash that needs saving. Anyone know what the verdict is?

You don't necessarily NEED equal blams to saves; 2/3 of all the stuff that gets sent to the portal passes, so if you were voting with perfectly average, reasonable standards you'd still have a 2:1 save to blam ratio. I think B/P ratio is only noticed when it's grossly in favour of one or the other (like, 10:1 in either direction). And even that doesn't really mean you're voting 0 or 5 on everything: some people just don't vote on certain types of flash, which can give them a skewed ratio, even if they're being perfectly sound in their judgement of the flashes they do vote on.

Honestly, during the last couple weeks, I've been getting the most blams that I've gotten since the BB was around. That Brad Garret group posted like 30 spam flashes in ten minutes one day and every single one of them get blammed. Not to mention there is a lot more crap coming into the portal as of late. The shit that sucks gets blammed QUICK though. It takes a lot less votes to get a flash blammed than it does to get a flash saved, so you've got to be on your toes with it. For those of you that don't have Portal Guard, you should really check it out. It's amazing.

Regardless of sign-up dates, I can find no evidence that this account has anything to do with the website advertised on the submission. And even if it is his, there's still the issue of the real porn in it (read: unsuitable).

As long as it's in quiz form, it's not breaking any rules. There are many games in the mature section that don't have hentai as jerkoff material and they're in quiz form and have stayed here for a long time. Now if it is purely porn, like heterosexual/gay/tranny/etc. just for the sake of uploading pron, then it's breaking the rules. Otherwise it's fine.

Hmm. The thing I was thinking about was the new line in the submission agreement which (on reading it again) says something like "due to new laws, you may not submit photographic images of nude people engaging in sexual activity".

I like studying law (but I'm still a few years out from law school, or even any semblance of that).

I think "sexual activity" is defined as sexual intercourse, whether digital (as in with your hands), oral, vaginal, or anal. That could vary from country to country or even state to state though, so I wouldn't quote me on that.

It might also have to do with context. Something like historical paintings and sculptures (which have tits flying around like fireworks on the 4th of July) would not be considered porn, since it is artistic. Even some modern photography can be considered art and not porn (Met Art comes to mind, along with a NSFW tag).

Basically, if there isn't any penis in vagina (or anything put elsewhere, for that matter, whether you're alone or with another person), it's considered "art" and not "sexual activity". Lewd as it may be, soft core porn is acceptable
