Hehe I know exactly what you mean. I felt the same way, they are only giving us recognition. They wouldn't care if we were not important. It only motivates me more if it's worth any more than just a laugh.

I got an e-mail verifying my password, meaning that someone tried the "forgot password" option for my account. I deleted the e-mail completely (since it showed my password) and changed my e-mail password just to be safe. Probably unnecessary, since my e-mail password is more than twenty characters long, but whatever.

As for news post spamming, there's a flood technique that I saw on one of Creeb's accounts a few days ago, so that's how it's being done. It's kind of hilarious, since all it does is increase loading time by a couple seconds, and can instantly be undone simply by copying a post, deleting it, and reposting it. I got one of those a week or so ago and was bemused at how desperate they were becoming.

I got spammed too (only accepted comments are visible so you won't see them), 889 comments. Meh... "Delete all" makes the job easier. Every EGB member should have approved comments only on their blogs.

After a long break from Newgrounds, I've returned. Unfortunately, upon my return this whole DD melodramatic bullshit has happened. I'm fairly sure in my account's security, but I've still taken some measures to further protect my account from being infiltrated. I'm going to try and post here more regularly, at least once a week.

One thing I've noticed lately about the Portal however is that it seems 1/3 games submitted now appear to be stolen. While I don't have any irrefutable proof, it just seems fishy to me that accounts that are owned by 13-15 year are created with hotmail, gmail, and yahoo email accounts are pumping out some of the best independent work I've seen. Especially when the game itself appears to be stolen from other Flash game sites like FreeOnlineGames.com. Stolen Flashes are nothing new, but what disturbs me is that they are passing judgment and as far as I can see are unlikely to be removed.

So my question is if anybody has any insight on why this is happening, so I can take the necessary precautions to getting them removed.

And I still have the same password since I changed it after Porkchop helped me get a medal a while back. I got an email about it, and I know I didn't try three times to login and fail. So that leads me to conclude that my account is safe.

I was not refering to you in particular some of us EGB memebers only got a few hundred and some got over a 1,000. i changed it so that i would have to allow it to show and guss what happened? I have over 800 comments to approve...i just deleted them all and moved along so that is one solution for now.

Yes i know for a fact that they will make more accounts to annoy us, since they have nothing better to do with themseves. They seem to be using just alt accounts to make all these comments on our userpages and since they are all left with in a minute's time they have to be using a program since theres no way they could leave 1,000 in a minutes time.

I was able to take a look into there forums yesterday after i got locked out of my account becuase they tried to log into my account using the wrong password, i just shut my laptop off and i came back and i found that i could not log in for the rest of the day. Back to what i was saying, i got a look into there forums for a few minutes before i got blocked from useing the forums for a unkown reason

A poor attempt at best, but i have a strong password that won't be so easy to get since my e-mail i'm now using for Newgrounds has all false information on it so i could not care less if they try to use it against me or not...it's all up to them.

Well most spammers belong to several different groups, just because there name ends in clock or some spam group does not mean that they don't belong to otheres. It's just the group that thry joined first.

Well, I'm on, and annoyingly enough, my PS3 is still YLODing my ass. So I've gotten 3 heavy duty years of use out of it, something's wrong with the motherboard. So the next best thing for me to do is to buy a refurbished PS3, which is gonna be a bitch, because that means my plans to get a tablet will be put on further hold.

That, and I'm gonna have to transfer all my music from my laptop to my PS3 and replay all my games again just to get back to where I was before. Not to mention get all my porn back. T_T I'll see if I can't find a refurbished 80 GB system or something so I can get the wireless. Or I could just keep the hard drive from my old one. T_T

Set your profile to accepted comments only, that way if you get spammed, you can mass delete them. Also, Lizzardis has had this problem before, and according to him, that's an easy fix.
