They were all Saves. I'm not proud of it - if I'd have gone on a save whoring tear, I'd have had over 1,000 Saves. I just voted 0 on the movies that didn't get blammed, just the crap that I'd rather not take a point for and I missed the Blams.

A regrettable lament, but I think perhaps this year, I can make a difference.

Hello there I know what it feels like having no internet. Well I don't know if Wade's Portal Watch is still active I think its maybe pretty dead to be honest I have not seen any recent activity there. But yes its annoying with the like of Chris Beer stuff always passing or any thing from Gender-LessHooker ,hey it may even be the same person. I'm rather worried about a user I posted this he seems to be stealing stuff but I don't know the exact location maybe from MadnessCombat.Net link to his user page http://madnesscombat0099.newgrounds.com/

So, after that great read and my exams out of the way til June 19th I'm feeling in a good mood. How are you guys today? Feeling good?

After thinking about it a little bit today I've decided that I'm going to try and make puddin's story into flash. They would have to be sprites because that's all I can do, but I was wondering if some people would want to help out?

An artist for backgrounds, buildings, etc.. Simple things like that.

Someone to slap an ad on it because I still don't understand how to do it myself. :P

So I'm going to start with a introduction flash. Just kind of giving a run down on all of the characters and what the newgrounds world is like. So whoever wants to be in the introduction flash you can message me or leave a post here with a bio about yourself. I'll probably play around with the bio a little bit.

Whoever helps out will be coauthored if they wish. If too many people take part in it then they'll take turns getting coauthored on each submission. I'll try to make it fair as possible.

Big question.. Mortal Kombat sprites or Metal Slug sprites? If you have another idea for the sprites then go ahead and suggest it.

Famous rock star sprites if you can find 'em (Scorpions, Twisted Sister, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, and the like)

About the intro, I might be able to do something. Check this:

Howdy, welcome to NewGrounds, the name's SlntCobra1. I'll be the tour guide, so just sit back and relax. We have an extensive amount of flashes coming through the Flash portal every day and numerous audio tracks coming in through the Audio portal every day as well. The purple flashes are currently under judgment, those that have no color just mean that they have passed. Those with the blue aura have an awesome score. The green aura is a great score. Here at NewGrounds(will now be hereafter referred to as NG), we have a scoring system out of a total of 5.00. I may have been around a while, but you can get more info from some of the "higher-ups" if you will about how the scoring works.

The color thing is not applied in the audio portal however, I don't know why though. Anyway, this entire city was built from the ground up by the mind of Tom Fulp during the early'90s. If you want, you check out the full history at the library and look for NG History. Anyway, this city has plenty of tings to keep you busy, we have forums(not sure how to turn that into the city format), we have clubs, we have the NG Sig Makers, the NGPD(NG Police Department), EGB(Elite Guard Barracks), NGDD(NG Department of Defense), we also have a NG Wal-Mart which sells shirts, keychains, sketch books, bobble heads, tons of stuff. The NG Theater has tons of great spoofs of video games, movies, TV shows, anything really.

That's all I feel like typing for now, but feel free to add if you like.

The barracks themselves from an outside view so I can get scenes outside of the barracks, walking to and from the barracks, etc.. Something like an army barracks is what I'm thinking here.

Not bad, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. I'm looking for more like an old cop film feeling where the town is run down, etc.. Everything is represented in real life terms like in puddin's story there. So spam submissions would be criminals and stuff like that. Don't worry I have the intro all figured out.

I just want people's bio's. Here's what mine would look like.

Corky52 - That Corky52 character was always a controversial figure. He started off as one of them. Just an everyday spammer and scum. He got sick and tired of living in the dumps and worked his way to becoming a respectful citizen. Eventually he ran into money problems again and had to resort back to a life of crime and spamming the streets. The gods must look down upon him as he was yet again given another chance to get cleaned up. He's stuck to his word and has been clean since.

That would obviously need to be fixed a little bit, but it's just an example of what I'm looking for with bios. If people don't make them for me I'm just going to make one up for you. :P

I have no experience with flash anymore, forgot everything I learned in the late 90s, otherwise I would help. I really don't like working with tutorials since I can't find any good ones with AS3. So I'll just have to wait until they are written, or until a master takes me under their wing.

I would be willing to do some original music for this project. I have a Fender Telecaster, a 35-year old Yamaha accoustic which is currently outfitted with nylon strings+slinky bronze wound, and is the most amazing sounding accoustic anyone has ever laid hands on. I also have FL Studio Pro or whatever the latest and most expensive version is.
Modifying guitar sounds in there is just buckets of fun.
Let me know if you need audio that you can't find in the Portal.

PuddinN64- An up and comer, PuddinN64 is a small time private. Moving up the ranks at a very slow pace, he seems to have a relaxed nature to every action he does. He takes life on NG with a casual tone. He enjoys writing and joking around, but is not noticed very much. Despite his best efforts, he seems to always be in the background on NG. Besides the EGB, he likes hanging out at the Video Games district of Newgrounds.

aldlv- Lot of time on the Portal, alway climbing on the rank, and very fast... quiet guy, quiet because English is not his native language, he speak Spanish. But when things have to be done, you have the right guy... Is always ready to work. And always direct when talking, and that sometimes gets him in problems... also likes the audio portal

If you're going to do sprite-type graphics, I'm pretty good at creating animated sprites. I'm also decent in Photoshop and Illustrator, and if you need it, you may want someone to add subtitles to the flash (unless you're planning on speech bubbles). I'm not good at original artwork, but I certainly can get the mechanical components tied together. I can also do quality control and tweaking - checking for sound / action synch issues, transition problems, etc.

Who's going to lay out the "white-board" sketch of this flash? The story is interesting, but changing that to flash means considering things like zoom, pan, focus, camera point of view, etc. - which means someone has a mental vision of what they want to see when this is animated, and then share that vision with the rest of us so we can fill in the blanks. I'm guessing Corky and Puddin are going to be taking that role.

This sounds like fun, and I'd love to help, if you need me. It will be nice to use my flash experience to build something besides boring website animations.

Sorry about that Puddin, I'm just really excited about this project.

You might try getting some ideas or tips from Idiot-Finder, he is one excellent writer, save for the few spelling and grammatical errors.

I'd be happy to do anything you want in terms of the flash. I have plenty of experience in assembling collabs, animating, drawing, etc. Just for fun, I whipped up this in a few minutes. It is by no means the best I can do. If anything, It's the worst I can do. I think the two people shown are SlashFirestorm and SlntCobra1.

But yeah, anything for the EGB collab I would be happy to do..

Hey guys, I think that this collab is a great idea, and from the amount of people offering support this could turn out very well indeed. I'd like to help in any way I can, but sadly my flash skill is limited, as anyone who's seen my work will know ;P

Anyway, to keep the whole thing more organised I made a thread here on the Barracks forums, mainly to prevent important details being lost amongst other EGB posts in this thread, as well as stopping the info from being spread across potentially dozens of pages depending on the length of time this will take to complete.

I didn't see the original so I don't know how much was it changed, but if it's different then technically it doesn't count as resubmitted.

Also, since flash clubs are not allowed in this forum, I'm not sure whether it's OK or not to keep talking about the flash production here. I'd say it's better to stick to the thread created by RohantheBarbarian :)

If not, take a look at the FAQ! It now includes an art portal section listing rules and cool stuff for audio portal! It also says that I-Bot will be the audio portal bot. There are moderators as well, not all of them are moderators in other parts of the site already, there are new people such as BoMToons and Egoraptor.

Yeah, that's amazing, I hope to be submitting art on a regular basis and it seems that the art portal will need our help flagging abusive submissions so hopefully the EGB will be busy as ever.

I don't agree with submitting animated .gifs, I really don't consider them to be art. I like the whole scouter thing, that instead of mods approving art, it will be trust worthy users. Though I am concerned monitoring all the users at first will be very hectic.
