How do you reduce the size of a picture so u can post it on the BBS? I'm using windows xp my pictures im confused!!

Reducing File Size
Use a painting or picture program (e.g. ms paint or photoshop, paint comes with xp) to convert the picture from .bmp to .jpeg, .jpg, or .gif.

Reducing Picture's Size When Viewed
Use a picture editing program to select and shrink it. MS Paint can be used, but it's not so good in doing that, and may screw up your picture. I suggest you do that with a professional drawing program, if you can find one, like photoshop, etc.
