NG Levels... 2002-12-10 13:40:30 Reply

Again, if this question is already answered, then I apologize for not looking up.

I'm just curious, is there any formula for the level requirements? It looks like whenever humantarget52 deposits his points the level requirement goes up, so I'm just wondering if there is any formula for this.
I'm sure that this would prove quite useful to me, as I can speculate which level I would be on after 6 months or something like that. Of course I can do that by viewing each level's profiles, but that is too troublesome.
So, is there a formula? If there is, please let me know. Thank you very much.

in your profile it tell you how many points you need to get to the next level and the total number of points you have up to this point

Well yes, but what I am looking for is specific formula. So all I have to do is use the formula to calculate the points I need for level whatever. Yes, I could look in my profile and other people's profiles for points requirement for level whatever, but the problem is that is too troublesome, and I would have to look in every week or something like that because the value keeps increasing whenever humantarget52 deposit points.
Although I could look in people's profiles, what I want to know is specific formula. Thanks for your help anyways.

I'm not sure... Yeah, I was wondering why the points required for some higher levels were uneven, with strange varying numbers. So only the first levels have fixed numbers for level-ups, and some of the higher levels are for people competing for places, right? (For example, the highest levels have only one member, or a fixed number of members in each one of them - the highest level goes to the person, or people - the first, second, and third places, for example, with the most exp. points, the second highest goes to the person or people with the second most exp. points, and so on.), and to level-up, you have to beat other people and get more experience points than them to take their place. I think that's how it goes, but I'm not sure.

Sigh...looks like there is no formula for the point requirements. Or at least nobody knows. Oh well, back to viewing each level's profiles for required points. Thanks for your help people.

I reckon, Because you might notice a massive jump between Lv9 and 10, that the system is done to sort the truly dedicated from the rest!

Whatcha think people?

More level is a very good idea. I am pretty sure that humantarget52 is tired of being level 30 and having his golden sword. Same with Pimp, Shrapnel, and -bomb-, as they can never get to level 30 when humantarget52 keeps depositing his points. So...more levels, like until level 50, would be very nice, as humantarget52 actually has a chance to go through the new level, not just stuck at level 30.
