I must say, for a movie game, king kong is impressive. Both in gameplay and graphics! I really like the game. But does anyone know when the movie is coming out?

The game is a fun blend of first person action and third person beating. You play as jack, who has crashed along with Carl Denham and Ann Darrow on skull island and you are desperately trying to survive the hordes of various monsters. But of course what kind of game would King Kong be if you couldn't play as the loveable monkey :) The kong parts are few in between but satisfying. I mean, what other game has you breaking dinosaurs' necks as a giant ape? I would buy it if i had the money to spend, but i would recommend renting it. because you can beat it in about 8 hours.

I thought it wasn't that good. I didn't get past that damn T-Rex.

The computer version is very hard, get a console one. And trust me, even the shooting is surprisinly easier. The part where you beat a t-rex took me a few minutes and i didnt even die. It's very easy to snap its jaw and defend from its bite with a controller!

How can the shooting on this game be more easier than shooting, on a console, when compared to a computer? It completely puts my mind, into a knot.

Well you see, The game has no aiming rectile, so you have to be an fps expert to be accurate. In the console version, it helps you out! But only to the point to wich you need the help, its still not easy. Who can press mouse button 1 really fast? I sure can't. I always lost to t-rex!

No, it was a side scroller.
you play as Jack escorting That girl (puzzly [think resident evil 4]) Collecting weapons and items.
and then as King Kong, which is just as Button mashing, wall-running, platforming as the 3d version. The adrenaline bar is still there, and you can feed on the Raptors.

You even play all the way to new york..

Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised.

The modern king kongs are, but do a google search and you will see that the majority of classic king kong art uses shades of brown, and he was only black in the early movies because it was black and white.
The oldschool movie posters will show you true kong, in colour.
