Listening to the full album right now. I am liking it but it always takes me awhile to really want to dance to some of RBFs music. This album is no different.

PIcked up the new Ska is Dead comp today too, not bad if you don't own of the music on it. I lost alot of my ska music so it's nice for me. But not for someone who has it all.

Mmm it's the brighton Ska festival on sunday.
I'm looking forward to that shizzay.

It just really irritates me when there's shitty punk bands playing it >:(

Hey there.

I just got into ska about a month ago and I am loving it. I can't stop listening to 311 and Goldfinger. I was thinking about making a ska crew myself, until I saw this one.

Less Than Jake and Reel Big Fish and playing in Boston some time soon. I wish I could go see it, but I probably won't be able to. Anyone else going to that?

Hahaha, the show sold out before I could buy tickets. Ah well. Aggrolites are coming by soon, that should be a fun show. And I have tickets for the Aquabats show in August already, and they never disappoint.

If anyone is going to Warped Tour this year, please be sure to see Buck O' Nine and The Fabulous Rudies. We need to support Ska on Warped Tour, because it's been overrrun by shitty emo bands.

Also, Harts Valentine IV (guest starring Big D and the Kids Table! oooh!) comes out Valentines Day 2008. Sorry about the delays, but this is seriously the coolest thing that's ever happened to me ever, so be there.

Yeah, I figured it would sell out. If I had known about it earlier I probably could have gotten tickets.

Not enough people appreciate ska, I was in charge of music for a party on saturday, and I wasnt allowed to put any of my favorite ska songs the girl who was hosting the party hates ska, but likes everything else :(, I had to put up with shitty songs like party like a rock star and lip gloss.

And it turns out most of her friends liked to skank and knew plenty of ska bands :(

anyway the RBF, LTJ, AAA & SM show is on the 19th! I cant wait :D Ill try to post some pics from it afterward. Im pretty much going to see SM, one of my friends is going to see RBF, and the other wants to see LTJ.

Went to Summer Camp Out and my friends got two blunts taken from them while smoking in the crowd and I cupped mine, dotted it out with my fingers, and put it in my white owl tube with the security guy right there.

What the hell people don't let this topic die :\

Okay well first pic from the concert is guitarist Joe Koontz of Against All Authority, they were pretty loud and their trumpet player's mother died so he wasnt able to make it.

Second pic AAA again this time with singer Danny Lore. they were okay, but too distorded the only song i really knew by them was All Fall Down, but it wasn't as good without the trumpet. The also did a Dead Kennedys cover which was probably their best song.

The second band to play and the whole reason I went to the concert was Streetlight Manifesto. It was nice to see that they set up all their stuff them selfs and arnt afraid to practice/warm up on stage.

First pic from left to right is Mike Brown, Jim Conti, Mike Soprano, and Delano Bonner. I think they were just warming up in this pic.

Second pic, Tom Kalnoky, I cant really remember which song he was singing here, but I think it was Everything Went Numb. I fucking loved everything they played, but I wish they played longer :( Oh yeah, and Jim Conti pointed to me :D

3rd band to play was Reel Big Fish, they are awesome I really want to buy their live album now, they put on a great show I must say. Although I went for Streetlight and love thier songs, Id have to say Reel Big Fish put on a better show.

In this picture from left to right John Christianson, and Dan Regan. They are very funny.

I love the Reel Big Fish and I'm going to their Columbus show, so I can't wait. The only thing that I'm getting pissed off about, is that my pre-order hasn't come yet from their new CD. D=<

And finally Less Than Jake, I personally dont like them THAT much but I guess they were the main event since they put on a Price is Right play.

In the picture Buddy Schaub in green, Chris Demakes (Bob Boner) and Roger Manganelli. Roger saved the day when someone threw a shoe on stage and knocked out the mic for chris, so it was almost like nothing happened.

Amazing, it's the second year ago, last year the Line-up was slightly dif. With Streetlight and RBF again but Opening also was Whole Wheat Bread and the other headliner was MxPx (Which I don't really like)

Man, that could've really sucked.

Also I got a new Streetlight shirt to go with my Streetlight shirt from Last year.

Get Warmer will grow on me eventually. But Goodbye Cool World is still my favorite. However Never Trust a Man.... is like there best song to date.

Still, I thought nobody else like BtMI!. Anyway, is the ASOB reunion sold out already?

The first show sold out in a day, I'm not sure about the second show, but I wont be anywhere close to it when it happens.

I like Get Warmer and Goodbye Cool World at about the same level. "I Don't Love You Anymore" is one of the most fun songs ever. I know they're not exactly a ska band, but they're still awesome.

Anyone else going to the VGS/Mustard Plug tour once it comes around? I'm going to the Syracuse show myself.

whoa, you people still listen to ska? that sucks.

i definitely grew out of the genre. it's almost embarrassing to remember me liking less than jake and all those bands. though, i still love BTMI!, ASOB, TFT, and other similar bands.

Remember that collaboration for Bender I said I was going to put together a few months back? Well, I finally did it!

Also, Big D in Buffalo one week after Mustard Plug! And they're both on a Friday! Fuck yeah! I saw Left Alone with The Have Nots last week and it was an awesome show, so I'm looking forward to seeing them again too.

Now here's hoping MMB reunites this year. And get people on this collab!
