Yes, we have to start doing something all right, but would it work? Let's say we start protesting about...war against Iraq. I do not believe President George W. Bush would ever listen to the protest. This is what will gonna happen.

Protestors: We want peace! We want peace!

George W. Bush: Why is it so noisy outside?

George W. Bush: Again? Who cares. I'm just going to turn the volume of this TV up high so that I don't have to hear them.

Gotta be careful too. Supposedly we are at war... Saying that "Bush Sucks" is directly insulting the commander in chief. With his new homeland security program, it's very possible boards are scanned for this stuff. At any time, they could be keeping track. Ah, the loss of freedom, so quickly too

Even if these forums were swept for "Bush sucks" comments, those doing the sweeping would have difficulting locating the people whom were posting those comments. And plus, saying Bush sucks isn't a crime or anything, it's just what people think of America's current leader.

As for Tony Blair, he's following Bush's footsteps, so their's nothing to say about that. Same goes for Howard (Australia's current Prime Minister).

If the time is peaceful, then saying "Bush sucks!" won't be a crime, yes. However, lostremote0001 gave us one condition: war situation. In the times of war, it is inevitable that the first amendment would be violated. By saying that George W. Bush sucks, in worst case we might even be charged for treason, and that is the worst crime you can get. Seeing how George W. Bush is not very intelligent, it is very likely that treason is on our way.

That says it all. We give up our freedoms, we do not have anything. We lose what America is SUPPOSED TO BE? If we lose our freedoms, what are we fighting for?

On that note, the 'Bush sucks!' and 'Fuck Bush' forums are irritating. It's funny how we can all sit around mouthing off in a forum, but yet...how many of us are registered to vote? I am. How many people voted in the presidential election? I did. How many people DO SOMETHING about the state of the country, rather than just bitch about it. I do. I'm proud of that.

Oh, right. If you're under 18, this doesn't count for you, at least the voting part. So don't get on my ass. ;)
