A non-friendly message to Reviewers

Every movie MUST have a jerk who stands outside of the crowd and whines on how the movie sucks and gives it a 0 all the time. It's pretty much happened in all the entries I made... I know some of them suck, but most of the time, there's a few things most reviewers tend to have or do. First, a lot of them claim that it's the worst thing they ever saw and they can do better any day, when clearly when I look at their profiles, they are pretty much lvls 1-5 and they have not submitted anything so far that stayed alive. 2nd off, they always say "Nice, but kind of pointless" or "doesnt make sense". That's why some people need to read the damn commentary before saying crap about people's movies. A few people say my "SPAM THE NEWGROUNDS GAME" had no point. It was basically made for you to have fun and take your anger out, besides actually doing it on the forum. Other people just make games for fun and to entertain... Lastly, the people who badmouth the movie type next to nothing like "You are lame" or "sucks". Well, if it's so crappy, at least tell us something that's productive on how we can make it better. Flat_line gave me some advice and actually took the time to write up a good review in the same game. So, I'm not saying you shouldn't review if you can't do better... just don't be so harsh and lie on how you can do better when you haven't accomplished shit. Agreed?

I did that once with paper wars. I didn't say it was the worst thing I've ever seen, but I said it was way too shitty to be at the #1 spot. I still think it's crap today. though.

As far as your spam newgrounds game goes, I liked the concept behind it but it was too hard.

I review honestly, because I can appreciate the work put into their cartoons. I just write what I think, there has been times when people have blammed the hell out of something and gave it bad reviews, and it somehow appealed to me so I just wrote that I liked it despite what the others said. I just say what I think, I review fairly.

People need to learn the art of constructive criticism. Don't just say something like "THIS SUCKS!!!" Tell the author WHY it sucks.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. People like that are the reason I'm a little nervous about submitting any entries. But then again, maybe I should worry only when I finish my first movie.

Yeah, there are some dumbasses on NewGrounds that just try to write a review for their profile stats, and write trashy shit on the review that doesn't even make sense. This just stinks. Shitty movies do deserve crappy reviews, but you know, if you write a review for a good movie that boos it down WITHOUT CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM, unreasonably (not because you think the movie sux), that's just bullshit. Some people give cruddy reviews and probably havn't even viewed the damn movie!
