War is a horrible job, people die get injured its WAR not something pretty or a videogame you can start over when you lose.... its GAME OVER

Yet the media makes a huge deal about 2000 dead american soliders
Its true those men and women lost thier lives fighting for the united states
we should honor them... by not chicken shitting and running just cuz the death toll is mounting...

War is bloody and ugly people die in war thats what happens

But why the fuck are we pussying out by fighting fair?

Our enemy isnt fighting fair he uses children as walking bombs and uses women as well

Now think of all those other people, both fighting to protect your country, and being killed because they pose a threat to you. Each of those people have a family that cries over their death. They would feel the same loss that you felt losing your mother. They would feel no reason to continue senseless killing, as would you.

Ok, thought about 'em. What I've concluded is that people won't fight unless they are trying to fulfill a goal. In this case, better life in Iraq (assuming you are basing your whole argument on this single scenario).

The allied troops removed Saddam, gave Iraq a fresh, humane rebirth, and is currently helping put down rebellions where the main cause is to reek havoc and terror on those who support the new system, especially law enforcement.

Each of those people have a family that cries over their death. They would feel the same loss that you felt losing your mother.

Would you feel the same loss if your mother had a piano dropped on her by accident instead of being gunned down trying to blow up a hotel? Methinks not. I know I would grieve differently if my mother were shot in the face trying to murder a little child than if she was shot in the face crossing the street on her way to work in suburban Minnesota.

They would feel no reason to continue senseless killing, as would you.

Senseless killing isn't a concrete term. What's your definition of it so I can better understand how this applies to real life?

Someone gets shot in the face from an unidentifiable person, for no reason, and I cry.

Crying = bad and bad= not good. So crying doesn't feel good, and life is validated by feeling good.

Therefore, life shouldn't be expended, because it causes others not good feelings.

The main reason is that America is losing a lot of respect from other nations over this war - tony-in-bed-with-george-bush-blair is also starting to realise how bad an idea this was.

The war is still unjust, just like the war on afghanistan, and should never have been started.
