The only time i've ever called 911 (it's actually 911 here in Canada =P) was when I was really young, I can't remember what age exactly, because I was really mad at my parents because they had punished me for something, so I went up to the attic, which was my kind of hangout area, and dialed 911 and said my parents were being mean to me, then got freaked and hung up. They called back and I answered again, hung up on them, and then I think the police got ahold of my mom or something and I think I got a stern lecture after either denying the whole thing or claiming it was an accident. It was pretty scary at the time, but I find it funny now.
i've been around when it's been called before, but never actually needed to use it myself.

Yes, once. There was a car on fire at the end of our block early one morning and my girlfriend noticed it as she was putting out the garbage so she had me call for the fire department. It must have been as odd for the dispatcher as it was for me, since I was perfectly calm and even a little disinterested (it wasn't my car after all).

Not in the case of an emergency. Once i was bored and pressing random buttons on my phone. Then pressed call, expecting it to tell me the number was too long like usual. Then someone answered and said it was the emergency service. So i just hung up quickly and turned off my phone

Free cash lol
Also cox. lots of cox

I used to call 000 a lot when i was younger, but i dont know, im not hardcore anymore. I used to ring them a lot and say nothing and listen to them 'hello? Is there an emergency? HELLO?' and i hung up. Then one day I called htem and hung up and they rang back and said they were going to send some police over to talk to me and my parents, I was SHIT scared! and they never showed up.... win.

I did call them last year for a serious reason. There were massive fires going through the hills where I live (Adelaide in South Australia) and behind my house are paddocks and farms and shit like that and i saw massive ammounts of smoke coming from the paddock behind my house so i called 000 and they looked aroudn and there was nothing. Anti climax. yeah 7 or 8 people died in those fires because some guy drove thorugh long dead grass and someone his car started the fire.

Three times.

The first two, because I was a little shit and got myself into really deep trouble.
The last one because my grandfather fell down stairs and was bleeding from his head.

911 works on my phone.. didnt on my phone i had a couple of years ago..
dont really need it to down here.

the only time I ever had to dial 911 was when I was on teh freeway going home and some nut case doing 60 in a 75 mph zone was swiving in all lanes making it so you could not get around him, and the fact he was holding a gun to his head at the same time, 5 mins later he shot himself and his car went over the edge since the freeway is up on a hill, all I can say was it was very messy

Yes I have. At school.

I hung up the phone before anyone answered, and then the phone RANG right when I turned my back on it. I didn't answer, I was too scared to get the police on my ass or something.

That happened to me before. A couple of friends were canoeing over to an island at night, and they tipped. Well, I was on the shore. They kept shining a light and screaming, so my other friend ran off to get help while I tried calling 911 and signalling them back. But the call kept failing.

Eventually a fishing boat rescued them.

Here it's 112.

Yeah, once. In august. I was cycling ffrom home to my grandmas house with my little brother sitting in the back, and his foot got stuck between the wheel and the bike. A big scratch, but he managed fine.

I called once when this SUV flipped on its side around 5 times at an intersection near my house. On the first flip a kid around 7 years old got thrown out of the window and ran to the grass on the side of the street before the car can run him over and then past out.
