Yeah, I absolutely agree with you. Those sort of names are fucking annoying. Thank God I have MSGPlus and can custom name people to something that won't let me see shitty names. I just keep my name as Bahamut on MSN, No need to put in a bunch of crap with smilies or whatever.

Well, I am a little bit of that. I do use emoticons a bit too much, but I wouldn't have certain things like LOL to replace into an emoticon. I just put brackets around the name so I don't get emoticons used instead of words.

Problem 3: The languages used in their instant messages.

This one I fucking agree with, especially txt talk. I think it's completely retarded. Mispelling is also annoying, but I think txt talk is just worse.

Problem 4: People who go online then go offline again immediately.

That's happened to me sometimes, so it wouldn't bother me too much.

Yeah, most the times I see mispelling and TXT to talk disrespectful. I mean comon, you're talking to your friend, the least you could do is write a whole fucking sentence.

I always bitch about the above. In my username, I never have more than one emoticon unless it's a joke. People who custom emoticons piss me off in a similar way they get to you. There's an emoticon I have with the smiley face and eyebrows moving up and down, and my friend has it as the word "eye". I set it to "i-br0w" because I'd never type that, so now, he can't say the word eye. Other people replace single case letters as well, that really angers me.

Very nice topic my good man! on the emoticons, my lil brother floods me with that shit and i call him a retard. i try to explain that it doesn't make you cool and that you can gain more respect without every "hello" being a waving emoticon or wahtever.

and about away status: i tend to have the busy status. that means that i am really doing stuff, but i wan't to be able to talk to ppl when i need to and visa versa.

Points 1 and 2 are completely a waste of my time. The rest are valid points but you still fail for getting worked up about them.

But the biggest issue would be: lack of descent communication. Things can be easily misunderstood and I don’t like msn drama.

To be honest, msn is quite gay. But it’s a way to stay in contact with other people.

Guess why I have disabled winks and emoticons in my MSN.

I think the most annoying thing is when people wont shut up'. I once had someone continuously say "askjfgbiqiwlasgugaiugf" again and again. Since then I rarely go on MSN and just talk to my friends on my message board.

This is very true...It's hard to detect sarcasm and some people can react badly.

Mostly 13-15 year old girls that do that. I try to avoid the use of the emoticons. The worst is when people have over used words like 'lol' as emoticons, so that It ends up on every other line! so annoying...
