Generally speaking, its next to impossible. It would be eaisier to remake the whole song from scratch with your own lyrics.

Khuskan has a great point you're better off remaking the whole song and changing the words although there are ways to do this its extremely hard and takes a large amount of time to do

And the results normally sound crap and it kills any bass element.

u being the banana man, i take it the quality aint the most important? ur gonna make something funny out of it?
Perhaps yo ucould simply silence the song and put whatever word u want there, if its only a few words? on e other thing, if u dont want to silence the song totally, u could just "kill" some freq. its very commonly used by DJ´s in clubs, if they want to "filter" out some (not filter the effect) freq. usually there´s treble mid and bass kill swiches on a mixer. explain a lil closer of what ur going to do, othervise its difficult to help out.

^^ I dont like the way this noob speaks.

If youre gonna do that, youre gonna need to either ask the author for a track with that lyric section blanked out, or remake it from scratch. Lyric rmovers dont work well, and then you have to cut and splice and dice and sperm all over to make sure it soundw even a little bit right.

Just remake the song or even better: Write your own freakin' song.

Peace.

It could be possible depending on what genre.

R'nB and other similar genres normally release an instrumental and an accapella. You could combine the two together to get the original song and just modify what you want.

It isn't really a smart thing to do though as you'll start breaching copyrights if you intend on using it outside media that is free and commonly used as an 'underground' method of entertainment.

Modifying the original is, like mentioned, close to impossible. When you remove the wave patterns of the vocals, you'll be removing all sounds of that frequency.

Since I have no idea who the hell you are, i suggest you tread a lil more carefully with the "noob" allogations.
He don´t have to ask the author for a nonvocal track to bleep out the lyrics in some parts. What i suggested was that he could silence the whole song. This is the guy who made the post is the creator of Peanut Butter Jelly, therefor i assumed that quality isnt the main issue, humour is. Not saying he cant make things sound good, but silencing a song in places in parts and adding own vox might have a humourus effect. It all depends on what he want with the project.
This guy asked a question, I answered. Noone ever said that he is altering a copyrighted song, it´s your assumtion only. Very likley he is, but thats another issue.

I listened to some of your songs, you are an OK musician. But don´t walk around noobing ppl wildly, when you don´t know who they are. You´re not THAT good in making music and using reason, mate. Keep the stinkies to the ground.

you fucking idiot that was uncalled for what you trying to prove and by calling Mr.Rucklo a noob proves that you no nothing becasue I think if you spend 20 mins in this place you find out who he is.

also if he remade a song it could be funny but it will also be funny if the author takes a well known song and changes it around and he was just asking.

You Sir are a Loser
