i recently worked with acid pro and sound forge, and while they were good, i knew i could find better. then i found it

ladies and gentleman, if you are going to buy any sound mixing or editing program, buy ADOBE AUDITION

it costs much less than pro tools, and is a lot easier to use, it has 328 induvidual tracks running at once, and is a great recording program too.

Old. Audition is alright, if not a bit... toyish as compared to the more gritty editing software. Soundforge 8 far surpasses its abilities on the recording and editing front, but is a little harder to use, and it definatly dosn't stand a chance against ProTools.

Cakewalk works well for me. And it's already bought, so I wouldn't want to change it.
