You may want to start off with smaller file sizes as larger ones tend to draw away from the viewer, do waht you can to make it smaller may it be cutting down the audio, or removing certain graphics, or even split the movie into two different parts....

make sure you music and sound files are mp3 format, other formats of higher quality are huge on the filesize

you mean wav.
flash can compress wavs better then mp3's.
you get a bigger fla, but smaller swf

really? thanks for sharing, i didn't know that, but wav's are bigger files than mp3's in their non-swf form, that's weird

yeah, it messed with me alot to.
but some one basicly explained how a mp3 is already compressed, and a flash cant really do much with it, buta wav is more raw and the player can unpack it as need be, or somthing odd like that.

mp3 sound alot better tho

i just didn't know that an swf even TRIED to compress sounds
