You start by going to the flash forum for flash related questions (this includes actionscript) but I know a bit so I might be able to help but go to the flash forum in the future
on(press){ _root.stop(); }
put this on the actions panel of the button.
you might only have to put stop(); not _root.stop(); I don't remember
