My favorite guitar solo of all time is in this song:

For anyone here whos only heard of underoaths cd "They're only chasing safety", im telling you now, that cd is fucking crap, and completly different in every way from their older cds.

Just rate this guitar solo out of ten if you've heard it before, or download it and rate it. The intro for this songs pretty bad ass as well.

Music is a matter of opinion, so I guess there is no BEST solo of all time. But this is my FAVORITE. I dont think I ever claimed it to be the best (did i?), I just fucking love it. And did you even listen to it before you disagreed?

Definitely page, but not that song. Whole lotta love has the best solo I've ever heard.

Young did have some great solos and I admit that AC/DC is my second favorite band, but while his solos are fun to listen to and sound good based on their style, on sheer talent required and awesomness factor, Page is clearly better.

Eddie Van Halen is a different story.

White summer is like the ultimate. Stairway to heaven solo is good, but it is actually pretty slow.

My favorite solo would be the one in Flaming Telepaths by Blue Oyster Cult. Its not very fast compared to most solos, but it just connects with me.

Another favorite of mine would be all the little mini solos in Blue Oyster Cult's Dont Fear The Reaper.

If its not noticable, Im a huge Buck Dharma fan.
