I saw his posts. Looks like he mainly posts in the Politics forum. That's why I don't know him since I don't visit that forum. Looking at his posts, they are long. I'm not into politics, but with long posts like his, I think they are good posts.

Haha, 4rlz. I stop paying attention to the BBS for a month or two and n00bs arise out of nowhere to become popular and trendy.

I know everyone except Sarai and Proteas though. Evark rocks, Canas is an ok guy, JoS and Gooch are swell.

Congratulatiosn to all the new mods, especially Gooch, Sarai and Justice of sarcasm but can someone explain to me why SCD has been demodded?

i really don't think Sarai should have been made a mod, she has a very mall amount of time on NG and she doesn't even have many posts compared to more of the NG regs.
but i'm happy about the rest of the new mods :)

Posts don't say anything about that. It's about the quality of the posts. Even though I agree with you she should not have been modded, at least, not yet. I do not agree with you're arguements

WTF!! I think Wade or somebody should come on and give us an explanation at least, instead of just leaving us in the dark. I thought S-C-D was one of the better mods.

I totally agree; but she wouldn't be the first unqualified Mod to get by on her T&A factor.

Gotta say, all funny choices. Gooch and Evark are overdue, but the rest... I dunno, I'm still in perpetual expectance of Subpar and Rabid and BRS on the mod rooster and it's weird they've been overlooked again.

I'm glad about Evark. He's always been one of the more intelligent ones here.

I beleive SCD's de-moderation might have had something or other to do with this thread, and the opinions and ideals held therein. Of course, seeing as I'm not one of a privelaged few, I can't say for certain, but if I were to fathom a guess, that'd be it.

It's a travesty, really, because now the mod list is entirely devoid of 100% Scots beef, no aftificial ingredients, etc there.

A lot of people seem to be shocked about Sarai getting modded. It makes sense when you put it into context. The administrators seem to like a good balance between girls and guys as mods. They couldn't mod 6 guys, so they had to put a girl in there. Which girl is the best fit for the job? Sarai, with no doubt. She's mature, responsible and intelligent. So what if she's only got 1,300 posts? They're better than most of the regulars who have over 5,000 posts.

Congrats to Sarai and all the rest. I thought they were great choices and covered a wide range of personalities.
