I've asked myself the same question. On one hand, it's the new machine with what looks to be awesome games with awesome graphics. On the other hand, it's $400, not as good graphisc as some PC games, I can wait for the PS3, and a lot of the games that'll be on it will be ports of PC games anyway. If you have the money, go for it. If you are going to have to dig money out of the couch to get it, just wait for the PS3.

PS3 isn't as good as 360. its only better in processing speed. Get a 360..Go compare the specs atleast and see what you like better

They won't be for sale, for about 2 1/2 week. It was said, that it will be for sale, somewhere around November 22, I believe.

Back on topic: It all depends on you. You decide whether you want it, or not. But if you my opinion, I say save your money, since those things are expensive, and buy it, whenever you think is a good time to do it. Or get it for Christmas, either one.

I've been thinking about getting an Atari900, but it might take a while since i'm not the richest on the world. It's going to be worth it though, since Duck Hunt 3 is almost out on shelves.

Look dude, instead of giving you an answer, I'll help you make a decision in three easy steps.

Step 1.) Go to IGN (Inernet Gaming Network).

Step 2.) On the left hand side of the homepage, there should be links to Xbox 360 and PS3 stuff (game trailers, screenshots, reviews, etc.) Make sure you get to both of them.

Step 3.) Compare and contrast everything, then make your own decision based off the content.

My personal self says buy the Xbox 360 (Elderscrolls IV and other goodies!!!), but I think it is important that you make your own decision : )

hell yeah you should! i mean you can do all sortsa shit with it like take game screenshots, play old xbox games, download stuff from your psp (if you have one), etc. now im not saying the ps3 sucks, but the xbox360 has a ton more features. i dunno, sony might announce some, but as of now, go with the xbox360.

Tough decision. I have a PS2 right now.

I don't really go for Microsoft, so I plan to wait for the PS3. However, I remember the article that said XBOX 360s would cost less and less to make. My PSP would be able to do more with a PS3, but I could still get downloads to it from the 360.

Sony loyalty vs. Microsoft price...good question, but I choose a PS3 as my choice for now.

What also matters is the games!
