I like the Astros. Too bad they didn't win it all this year, Clemens had a phenomenal year, their bullpen is fantastic overall, but they just couldn't get any run support, oh well.

I'm not an avid baseball fan anymore...
But when I was, it was the Jays, all the way.

My team's the Chicago Cubs. They are about the only team that's close to my area that I like in any of the major sports, unless you want to count the Kansas City Chiefs kind of local. My favorite player is their catcher, Michael Barrett. Over the past two seasons, he's given the Cubs something they haven't had in a long time: An offensive catcher. He's done great things for them. I hope he does even better for next season. He'll be one of the main cogs on that team.

I'm a Mets fan. Although I don't watch much baseball anymore, back when I was 13ish I made sure I watched every game. Nowadays I'm a fair-weather fan. When the Amazins are doing good, I'll be there watching, if they're not then I've got better things to do. Needless to say I haven't done much watching lately.

I live near where you live, you may have driven by my town. Its called La Canada, its not that bad compared to the other areas (glendale).

And another note about the Dodgers, with Tommy Lasorda back in the organization, there's no way they can lose...right?

Chicago Cubs

I went to Wrigley Field when I was 4 and got a souvenir Cubs shirt with Bugs Bunny on it, ate a brautwurst, spilled a soda but got a new one, and saw Ryne Sandberg hit a homerun in a win over a team with some type of uniform on, I cannot remember who they were. Oh yeah and Harry Carrey sang during the stretch. I've been a fan ever since.
