You're not being mean, because I personaly think if you want to make a tutorial you just need to give people something understandable, readable and most of all helpful. Because I was a little bit confussed when I read his tutorial.

PHP: securing file uploads

Just to make it look like I actually know something, I'm writing a tutorial on sockets (although somehow, it also contains a crash course on networking). I'd like to run it by someone before I post it to make sure that I'm writing sense, and that the code works - any volunteers?

This seems like a good time to show what I can do and how much of a good teacher (I think) I am!

Just bump it when a new tutorial has been made - don't bump it up because it needs to be bumped, that might cause that this topic would get locked.

I'll be writing a beginners tutorial on using PHP with MySQL as soon as I can.

About the bumping, like Zendra said, it will be bumped whenever a new tutorial is added, which should be somewhat frequently.

As soon as me and Craige publish our book on basic php and mysql I'll link the download.

That's what we hope. But this topic should be straight to the point, so it's a lot easier for people who're looking for certain tutorials.
How about listing them by date or by a category?
