i try my hardest to try a stick fight ive read loads f tutorials on how to but i always make mine look to fasr or to slow if it is at 18fps how many frames should a punch/kick/other move take?

start perhaps by using a more commonly used fps like 12,24 or 30 try timing yourself doing some moves... you got a stopwatch? or better still... u got a video camera? record yourself doing some moves and play it back frame by frame.
