I think as long as people are willing to pay that price, then that is what they will sell the shirts for. Also, as long as people are willing to work for that pay, they will be paid that small amount.

This is a lesson straight out of business class. People are willing to pay more for brand-name items because people associate brand name with higher quality. The generic stuuf, usually, is made by the same company or a dummy company for people who can't or won't buy brand name.
Either way, no one cares. Take a business class Sheffield, and shut the hell up.
