And... it´s even more odd that most of them are actually pretty crappy one-liners =/ I would expect that a staff member would at least try to give a good example by writing decent reviews. But he does give a lot of support and I suppose people appreciate that, especially from an admin.

There are review mods who didn't always write reviews. And being an admin is in many ways very different than being a mod, so...

I didn't say he could press a button and remove 'em all on a whim himself in an instant. I said he could take them down. Perhaps I should have said "HAVE them taken down [by the admins]."

Get my drift? It's not who deletes them technically that matters, it was my point that just because any author on NG CAN either delete shit themselves or have the admins delete it for them.... doesn't mean the populace is happy when those that elect to do just that... do just that.

That would be why I grouped IWP and LF separately from Phillips. Because they both have such loud and vocal detractor groups (with some overlap, though clearly not full overlap, as I presume you don't feel the same way about LF as you do about IWP, for example).

Yes, I'm aware he did that, but he never got rid of all of his works at once, at least. From his fans' perspective, I mean... I've always been somewhat indifferent to IWP's NY series personally, though at times I enjoyed a few of them individually (like the first one with that nerdy drug-addicted squirrel relative of Foamy in it... if only he'd had Foamy's role from the start)... back in the pre-drama times... if there... was... really such an era... my memory may be faulty, perhaps it was just the "early stages" of the dramaful era I'm thinking of.....

You mean Pillz-E. He is probably my favourite character from the series. Possibly even my favourite character that has graced Newgrounds in a long time.

I think it's a case that he was a drama queen and he wanted to take off all of his flash, but was stopped by the Newgrounds rules - FYI fanboys can be problematic at times :P

What's a fella to do? Now it seems like he's sold out and gone for new twists on older flash, like Squirrel Songs number 8, I think it is now. I preferred the original and I will stand by that decision.

Yeah, I've reviewed some of his flashes, but ended up losing some reviews after he deleted a bunch of his flashes. These days, I completely ignore illwillpress' flashes, but I might want to share my two cents again sometime.

Not really my favourite flash on Newgrounds. I liked his earlier works, as they were excellent and pushed the boundaries of Flash animation for Newgrounds, at least. Now I think his style has gone a little stale and isn't as ground breaking as it once was.

Not just my opinion, but I feel justified in telling people who ask and also in my daily vote of 0 on Waterlollies, to hopefully keep it at lower than 1st for an entire week.

Yeah, you get that a lot - what I'd concentrate on is writing reviews that will get you responses. Authors like bahamut and Frenzy always respond pretty promptly, but you can always count on authors such as AfroUnderscoreStud and Jaiba to respond as well, though they can take a while longer (plus some coercion via PM to get responses then)

Yeah, there seems to be some decent response gaining going on recently, so that's worth a yay or two. Another correction in here - August 2008, not July.

As for me, I'm back up to 12th in the table and now it looks like I'm going to go an update without any movement, unless I can find someone who has 40 movies that need reviewing and will respond to all straight away.

Not what we're after - 234 Reviews, 66 with Responses. It's the number of Flash Reviews you have made that have gained responses, not the number of reviews your flash have received that you ahve responded to.

It just doesn't have the wow factor that it first had, when it came to NG. I thought that the animation was leagues ahead of the competition and now it doesn't seem to be that far ahead any more. For me, his pinnacle was Prowlies and his Waterlollies toon in particular hasn't pushed any boundaries at all.

Why would you want to delete your YouTube account?

The only thing I use my YouTube account for is my faves list/playlists. But seeing as how I have over 280 movies in my faves... I wouldn't want to delete my account. I'd either lose track of all those awesome movies... or I'd have to manually bookmark them all before deleting the account. Either way... PAIN IN THE ASS.

I remember my own review total. Well, sometimes I'm a day or two slow on adjusting to changes that I didn't cause (like I didn't notice when I dropped from 750 to 749 due to an ancient movie deletion (sans response, fortunately) until the day after it likely happened)...

Sometimes a sequel not pushing boundaries means the sequel doesn't HAVE to push any because perfection of form has already been attained. So all that's needed is a new plot with the same style/technique. I assume that's basically what Waterlollies is.

It'd be helpful but time-consuming, in your best interest you'd be better off just letting people find out this sort of stuff for themselves- unless of course you get bored one afternoon.

Well, the other option is to compose a basic PM to welcome new entries to the list and send that out when there are additional users that have reached the list. A basic "Welcome to the top 100 Responses list, you currently have xyz Responses, which puts you in nth place. The latest list can be found [link]here, we hope you will enjoy your stay."

I could come up with that... in fact, I rather think I just have :P

It just doesn't have the wow factor that it first had, when it came to NG. I thought that the animation was leagues ahead of the competition and now it doesn't seem to be that far ahead any more. Don't worry, I'm not considering leaving NG anytime soon. The only site where I feel like getting my account deleted right now is YouTube, but dammit, it's hard to leave when:

1. I don't know where to put some of my videos.
2. Some people upload their videos to YouTube only and nowhere else.

That's my issue with YouTube - I didn't know there was another place you can take them.

Why would you want to delete your YouTube account?

Because I'm fucking sick of all the bullshit on YouTube. I'd rather put my videos elsewhere and not have any association with YouTube at all.

The only thing I use my YouTube account for is my faves list/playlists. But seeing as how I have over 280 movies in my faves... I wouldn't want to delete my account. I'd either lose track of all those awesome movies... or I'd have to manually bookmark them all before deleting the account. Either way... PAIN IN THE ASS.

I'm not going to convince anyone to delete their accounts on YouTube. Whether they want to stay or leave YouTube, I'm not bothered. And besides, I won't lose anything if I delete my account. I can look out for all my favourite video authors on their sites.
