Hey, i ain't seen a FF thread, so i thought i'd make one. Post anything about FF really. Your favourite one, opinions, secrets, pics, whatever.

I'll start with my opinion, i think FF7 is the best out of the series, best characters, music and storyline.

Well, FF7 is probably the one that really defined the series IMO, but I think my favorite might be FF8, not sure tho, hard to pick a favorite.

Final Fantasy...ah, where should I start? Final Fantasy X is by far the best out of series. I'm also looking forward to Final Fantasy XI and Final Fantasy X-2 (the sequel to 10). My favorite word comes from FFVIII, which is Booya! (Said by Zell) I am an absolute FF freak, I constantly listen to the music. Nobuo Uematsu is a genius when it comes to making music (I'm listening to One-Winged Angel right now).

One day, when I get Flash and learn how to make it, I am going to create a cartoon which will be a Final Fantasy spoof...someday.

Oh yeah, I'm hearing news that a sequel to FFVII is going to be made. If this is true, I'm going to go mad crazy!!! Oh well, I've said my part.

Final Fantasy VII is the best in the series, by a longshot, but it needs to be remade with the new technology. Graphics upgrade, voices... but keep the story and alla that stuff the exact same. Just... give it a spit shine, ya know?

There are rumors that you might have to pay for FF11 when it goes online... which I would play it if it were free, but I doubt I would pay to play... supposedly Sony was going to make it where all you had to do was but the internet adapter however, they are thinking about issuing a monthly fee...

My favorite storyline is definately 7, but 6 follows a close second.

No, Zell introduced it. But I was wrong about him saying it. Booya was a move in his limit skill, Duel.

Actually, if you read Selphie's Diary in the garden classroom, you will notice that she actually invented the word "Booyaka" as opposed to Zells limit break which has the move "Booya" in it. Just to clearify.

FF6 is the best!

But since I've only played FF4 and 6, I don't know anything about the other FF that might be better than FF6. Anyway, the point of my post is:

I first got hooked on FF after watching one of my friend play FF3 (FF6 in Japan). Since then, I've played every one except for FF8 and I love them all. My favourite is FF9, just because I love the characters and the techs and the learning system. FF7 rocks too though. :)

My favourite character in 9 is, for moves, Vivi, and for character, probably Steiner.:D

I was just about to mention the thing about Selphie's diary.

Anyway, i can't wait for the FF7 Remake, if the rumours are true. Just imagine FF7 like FF10 graphics and voices, n' CG's. It would take the new role of best game EVER, second would be normal FF7.

IMO the List of best FF's from best to last is...
7,8,10,Tactics,9,6,5,4. (They're the ones i got)

10 Was good, but a little to linear, it was too easy, you couldn't get lost, no challenge, i suppose thats why i put it 3rd, but it makes up for it in graphics.

...I'm getting excited just thinking about the New FF's, 11, 12 and 7. Just thinking of 7 now makes me want to play it, the whole Cloud and Zack thing. Barely anyone who plays it understands that. They all say Cloud is a clone. Just feel like shouting, " NO HE'S NOT GOD DAMNIT!!"

But anyway, i'm dragging this on a little long, so, yeah, keep on posting.

o_o Kefka beats Sephiroth? KEFKA BEATS SEPHIROTH?! No way! Sephiroth could take em all on, just like in that Flash movie, called 'Sephiroth', when Sephiroth kills The FF4 End boss (I ain't played it alot so i don't remember his name) And then Kefka runs away, scared shitless.
So yeah, sephiroth could kill em all, Kefka, Kuja, Necron, Ultimecia, Seymour, Sin.

Tactics is sweet! I keep getting stuck on the same boss though. You know the guy that Wiegraf turns into....UGH...he's so hard to beat...and then I get pissed off and restart.

Yeah Yeah Yeah, I had the same damn Problem. Velius was his name, the stupid sheep mother fucker. Damn, he was one hard boss. Much harder than the End boss, he was probably the hardest boss in the game in my opinion, even harder than that secret dude in the dark dungeon. When i killed him, my Ramza was a lancer, 2 jumps killed Wiegraf, but you have to do it so he's not hurt by the time wiegraf transforms, then just Kill him with all your strong stuff, leave the gargoyle guys. Harder than it sounds i know, but you'll do it eventually, n' you'll go on to complete it, n' Get cloud n' raise him up to Lv 99, n' all the other secret people, n TG Cid, the best guy in the game (For battles that is)

I always made Ramza a monk and taught him HP Restore, so he'd live, and then make him into a knight so he'd have a high HP, and use Weapon Break and stuff. I had no problem beating Wiegraf and ending up with full health. My problem was against Velius and his damn helpers. Stupid Cyclops summon....errgh...I never did beat him....came really close though....that Holy Knight chick, Aegris I think her name is, helps a lot too.

I think the best Final fantasy flash movie is the chocobo mix, if you havn't seen it yet, i suggest you do. It's the funniest thing i seen in a long while.

For me FF7 had the best storyline,
ff8 had the best graphics for its time,
ff3/6 had the best cast of chars.
FF9 was just funny in some ways. FF10 was good
most ppl havent heard of Final Fantasy Mystic Quest or Final Fantasy Legends, but i heard that they were good. O yah cloud looks awesome in kingdom hearts. Here is a pic of him.

O yah since final fighting fantasy says that final fantasy charecters never collided into diff games and since they all do in Kingdom Hearts wouldnt have to be edited or something? Anyway Selphie, Tidus, and Wakka r in it and there all kids!

8 was the best in terms of story/ characters / settings. Altough FFX is highly impressive and my 2nd fav the enviroments didnt jump at you like they did in 8 e.g the garden designs etc. Plus In my opinion Squall has the best Limit of all Lionheart..

Weee I love most of the FF's Mystic Quest should be banished to oblivion and the gameboy ones werent too bad either.

I just love the way that in everyone square is always breaking a previous design limit and producing work of the highest quality.

On a side note has anyone else noticed that the ps2's graphics are getting shiter with each release. the companys are getting lazier i guess.

But there should definately be remakes of 7+8 as well as better versions (not just ports) of the exsisting and other ff's to the pc. Imagine X on a high end machine.. class.

I love all ff's and shall frequent this post! so keep it up raise questions or whatever and lets get a decent topic started :)

I havent finshed Final Fatansy 8 so i cant diss it yet. (jkin i wont) I only know of Final Fantasy Mystic Quest and 1 Gameboy Game for Final Fantasy... Guess im gettin old or somethin. Anyway PS2 has been gettin shitter and shitter, But personally i think its waaaaaaaaaaay better than x-box.

I think there are 3 for the gamboy/gb colour.

I dont think they were a series just seperate games.

But I do whole heartedly reccomend ff8 Just try and get around the graphics being dated and it is a fantastic game. I think you can get it on platinum now for a few £££.

Does anyone know if 1) Tactics is out in the u.k and 2) about the new psx compilation disc containing FF's and chrono trigger?

If anyone knows let me know I'm very interesed.

FF6 for the Psx aint bad and it only cost me a few £££.

Plus it came with a FFX demo disc (Pre release X).

I spent the most time with X, but III(U.S.) has to be my favorite. It, along with Chrono Trigger, helped form the golden age of RPGs. VII is pretty overrated, mostly because it was many people's first FF or RPG. I liked VIII's storyline the best. IX didn't impress me much. I mean it was a great game, but it felt kinda rushed. Not so Final Fantasy-ish.

As far as future FF games: X-2 looks pretty cool. I liked X, so I'll most likely like its sequel as well. XI looks great, I just hope the U.S. release doesn't have the same server problems Japan did. XII is looking mighty fine, as is Crystal Chronicles.

Good to hear what you lot think, alot of different opinions.

And to answer a few questions...
Tactics isn't out in the UK (Sucks cos i live in London) But i got it on import. And as for FF4 And Chrono Cross package, that's only in the US, over here we got the FF4 And FF5 package.

And for the Zell Vs Wakka question, thats a hard one, my two favourite characters of each game...interesting. I'd prolly say Wakka because he has the distance, and his Blitzball always comes straight back to him (Strange that), so he could just....hide in a tree n' keep throwing it at Zell. But on a hand to hand fist fight, it'd have to be zell, cos without a blitzball, Wakka has no overdrive.

Ok, what about this question. Who's the hottest FF babe? I'd have to say it's a tough decision between Lulu and Tifa, they both have the great size. I kinda like em all though. o_o
