You'd have to find the title out. Because at the moment, all the songs I have clicked are way too happy for the stuff most of us would do (depending on the decided plot).

looking for songs? well, I'm not good choosing songs, but the less happy and longest song I've found out are:

Cowboy Bebop - The Real Folk Blues (6 min) - blues
Dir en Grey - Hydra (5 1/2 min) - heavy rock

and those I think are perfect for the collab, but those are not too long:

Iceman - Shining Collection (4:43) - hear it here http://www.youtube.c..zA&search=iceman
TM Revolution - Madan der Freischitz (4:34) - you can hear it here, the version I have does have more rock on it, that's my fav song x333 http://www.youtube.c..arch=tm%20revolution
(dun ever ask for the video XD)

I don't really agree with The Real Folk Blues, but Dir en Grey may have a good song!
Child Prey is another good song by them.
If your looking for a song by a less mainstream band look for Ningan Boyz. They kick ass!!

Hmm, Morning Musume was a happy song, but it would be great for a happy flash, away from seriousness, but the songs saiyagina choose were cool too ^_^~!

Well personally I think Naruto is too over rated.
I'd rather watch One Piece , at least the filler is good half the time.

Most people chose their favourite anime. Naruto wasn't anyone's favourite. Personally, I find Naruto to be quite shit - Every 150 episodes, there are around four decent fights.
I do like the character designs though ^^

I could have sworn that at one point we had a Trigun part, I WAS going to do that one, but it was already taken.

After lurking at my prog library, i found a really interesting song. It is sonata artica's victoria's secret(runtime: 4:30).

link to song

I hope you like it, since it has some really good changes of notes and a very good variety of impulse. Is the perfect song for an action-packed-romance collab. I am very opened for suggestions, so i will check right now the other guys suggested music.

So far we have the main idea of the collab, which is a 100% original animation with a sort of plot. We are going at a good pace guys.

Oh damn that's awesome. I love it!!!! You have good taste in music. You have my vote for this song. This song is really open for a lot of varieties of animation. We can try some romance since action tends to get boring during the AC. Maybe you should write a story and decide on a character and you can divi the parts with the story part that fits accordingly with the song, but then that would be more work for you....i'm not sure if that'll work... also im glad it has lyrics and not just instrumental

I think the next one should have the same authors, but everyone's unique style.

Because I think one of the main likes of collabs are the different animating styles of the different authors, but you don't get that same feeling with a collab with a set style to it.

Even though everyone did anime for the last collab, there was still a variety of styles.

If you guys are accepting alternate applications, I would be interested in joining in on this incase one of your artists is not able to participate in this. Though I have not ever submited to newgrounds or participated in a major flash project, I do have an example I can show as a basis of being accepted into the collab. I would really enjoy being apart of this. Please however don't mistake me for an expert flash artist, I am still very much a beginner.

example work:
http://i2.photobucke..lchemist07/dizzy.swf

Please let me know about this. If you are only accepting alternates applications at the moment, I would like to have mine put in queue in a sense, so if someone has to drop I may take their place. If you are accepting regular applications to add to your collab, I would also be interested in joining you. Thank you for taking the time to consider me.

-Halo

Are you sure you are JUST a beginner? Or did you actually traced that? Coz it's kinda like work of ppl using flash for 5~6 months already.

My process:
For that particular drawing, I sketched it out using pencil and paper in my sketchbook first. Since I had decided that I would focus on the hair movement and keep the rest of the bosy a still image, I thought it would be best to get the body all right before I redered it in flash. It took about 2 sketches to get what I wanted, then I rendered it in flash, importing my inked drawing and traced the outlines. Since it was uncolored I colored everything first and set that as my finished object. Then insterted a key frame, and edited the hair individually in each frame. The whole tihng took about 6-7 hours total work. Thats the most advanced animation I've done with flash so far. I am still practicing, but like I said I am still a beginnner in flash.

frankly speaking, i don't think that's a good song. Try "rising sun" of DBSK (tvsk). That's decent.
