Do you understand now? They act that way for attention, because their parents don't love them. Every time you react to the way they dress, they're getting what they want from you: attention.

You see, they're not original enough to get attention by being funny or intelligent, so they dress like dumbasses so people will have SOME reason to look at them and strike up a conversation. They pretend to be philosophical, but they're really just vain pricks who spend all their time putting on eyeliner and shopping at Hot Topic instead of having REAL fun.

Good fucking point. they choose to dress like goths/punks/emos, just like you choose to dress like whatever you dress like.
It is annoying when they act like they are individual because of their physical appearance. Personality makes us individual, and no one should care how anybody dresses.

I'm a black guy and i don't know much about this "emo/goth/punk" must be a white person thing i mean i have nothing against white people it's just that i find it weird how you guys have that group in your societies/groups that you have to deal with but us black people don't everyone's the same.I think it's a double edged sword that were all different.It has its pro's and con's but if i could have it my way i'd make everyone try and be what they want to be.And they can be influenced by anything they want.Much like America is now.It's just that you can't do the "wrong" things.

Ok topic is done you guys are just freaking me out.So what if they want attention if you meet one tell them that instead of posting it on newgrounds,it will have no effect on them and all you'll see is the people that either agree or disagree with you.You talk about people wanting attention.I say "who wants to be ignored?".If they aren't getting enough attention at home it's only natural they will look for it elsewhere now you should advise them on other ways to get attention if that is what you think instead of flamming them.
