(Reuters) -Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien, attempting to head off an embarrassing spat with Washington, has quickly distanced himself from a senior official who reportedly called U.S. President George W. Bush "a moron".

Well hell, everyone is calling Bush a moron! Nothing new there. Besides that, Bush is just trying to get the US into a real war with Iraq because the US hasn't caught bin Laden. It's just a diversionary tactic to focus the American people away from one threat to something that is not much of a threat. Might as well take down Saddam anyway...the US put him in power to begin with and the US should take care of its own mistake.

True, but the truth is everyone in politics has thought that Bush a moron before, even his own staff. Everyone is thinking it, and I'm damn proud of the fact that it took a Canadian to say something about it publicly. Still, I guess it would have helped Canada-US relations if she kept her mouth shut.
