im planning on returning with blue blob movies in a month or so

but ill also be in pre-production for the BIG claymation movie, wich again, shall be released in summer of 2006...im also buying a $500 mic for it..this movie will probably have a $7000 budget as well! o_o

To be honest, i AM tired of doing these movies, "klay world: off the table" was kinda the klimax to the blue klay peope..i mean i will always do it on the side (even if i somehow become famous)...these blue klaymen movies arnt ment to push envelopes, they are just movies that are made to be fun, and funny....no paradies, no cliches, no rip off's, just honest humor..wich is hard to find these days! :D

but that "super awesome" klaymation will have a site in late december i hope

It's pretty simple, Knox is like pop music.
He's tapped into what appeals to the target audience, and mass produces it with minimal effort for a lot of return.
The reason that this pisses off people such as DanAbnormal and I is because we know that there are many more talented, harder working and overall superior clay animators who get nowhere near the recognition he does.

I call bullshit on this argument.

Knox isn't here to impress any of you. He started claymation as a simple passtime (or so I gather) using little blue claymen. Over time these figures became his trademark and so he sticks to them. They're easy, quick and effective. Anyone who actually sits down and watches a Knox claymation would know that his movies are focused much more on humor and the seemingly pointless conversations his characters engage in, rather than the claymation itself. Not your kind of humor? That's fine - just don't bitch about it.

You don't have to like them. You don't have to watch them. It's as simple as that.

How exactly is Knox whoring out his own fanbase here or bastardising Newgrounds claymation? He makes claymations because he enjoys doing so - you think he has control over what others will think of them or whether they'll make it to the frontpage? Of course not. People like his work, and hence he became a success.

There's no need for personal attacks toward Knox for doing what he feels to be constructive and/or creative. File your complaints elsewhere.

If you ask me, NG users just think it's cool to hate popular artists for the sole reason that they're popular. Get over it.

I re-watched Not Your Friend Anymore and Glass of Water today. All of us know that Knox doesn't have the best characters, but the humor in his movies are what draws me in. I can actually say that I laughed out loud several times in his movies. Also, it's not like he makes us pay to see these movies. We watch them for free and he takes the time to do these so we're entertained, but all we do is bitch and complain.
