I like off-timing metal like that. It's a matter of preference. But what I'm saying is that Cynic IS metal, not whether I think Meshuggah is great or not.

I had a really huge topic....But for some reason it got deleted. I think it was because we flamed alittle to much. We weren't as open minded.

Anybody know the band Haggard? They play Symphonic Metal, they actually have a small orchestra in the band. There are 16 people in the band!

Anyway, their music can be described as a more melodic version of the symphonic period of Therion: there are the grunts and the orchestral arrangements, but there is also a female voice... anyway, it's a unique style. You gotta check them out.

They have released three albums, "And Thou Shall Trust... The Seer", "Awaking the Centuries" and "Eppur Si Muove". In my opinion their best songs are "Per Aspera ad Astra", "In a Fullmoon Procession", "Awaking the Centuries" and "In a Pale Moon's Shadow". So try to download these!
