Im not saying it IS about taste. How in the WORLD does it fall under rock? there is no way, nu metal, which slipknot would fall into, could ever be considered rock, by anyone in their right mind.

Hey, I'm just saying, this is a huge genre misunderstanding. it doesnt help there is about 100 fucking genres to metal a lone, but I still think this is wrong. Maybe *I* can help teach you something ;)

Nu-metal is in no way rock. It's a fusion between hip-hop, pop, and a little bit of metal. Nu-metal is nu-metal, it doesn't have a specific genre; but if it did, it would be metal.
