3.93 / 5.00 4,634 ViewsI am havin problems with my damned fill bucket thing... ok so what I did was I drew up a body with the pencil, closed in all the gaps, and now for some reason it won't let me fill in his body with any color whatsoever. Advice please.
Zoom most of the way, look for any smallest gaps whatsoever. If you can't find any, take a smaller stroke then the outline you did and put it right in the middle of the outline and redo it like that, if you know what I mean. Basically just use your outline as a guide and draw it agian, only with a smaller brush so you can't see it.
if the body is a movieclip, you have to double click on it to edit, i made this dumb mistake as soon as i got flash, if thats not it, then try using onion skin outlines if your lines are thick and you cant see any gaps
turn on the magnet tool and drag every place it is suppost to connect together to see if they are actually connected
or you can take the fill bucket size, to close large gaps O_o
I tried all the gap fil sizes and all the basic stuff like finding gaps. I was also wondering if it had something to do with me drawing the whole thing with the pencil... probably not though
we'll if they're on seperate layers the lines may not connect. haha it's those mistakes that screw up. Or you can put the fill bucket on to, fill large gaps, or medium. zoom out and do it if th gaps really are HUGE...
Your path is dark.
I figured out how to do it by converting it all to a symbol then editing it in the seperate sreen, but am still wondering why it wouldn't let me just fill in the space as it was. I had done it before with the face I was making.
