For detention in my school we had to like, have a mexican style chain fight where two of us got chained together by the arms and were given one chain each to fight with.

Good god, you got off with a warning for creating a fire? Wow....

Yeah, but the teacher who caught me was a reasonable person. She knew it wasn't dangerous since the floor or anything near wasn't flamable. It was just the liquid burning, with no smoke or whatever, so meh.

If I, for example burned paper, I guess I would have had some kind of punishment because of the smoke, smell and ashes it creates.
