Then you obviously have no idea what you're talking about because recent additions to the emo scene have made it a genre of music. I'm not saying this is a good thing, but it's a genre all in the same. Like years ago when punk was indecernable from rock and roll, but bands like the Sex Pistols helped kick things off and now it has its own genre. There are many genres and sub genres that I'm sure you're unaware of, and therefore lack the mental capacity to continue this argument.

DID I compare them to Megadeth or Metallica? No. In fact those are two of my favorite bands and I think they are both far better than Avenged Sevenfold. However, for the sake of the argument, their riffs are considered speed metal, therefore qualifying them for that category, if you see, no actual comparison was made in my post.
